Ok this might be strange but i couldn't find any useful information on google
on this topic

I have around 10 domain names on parking on sedo now for test
totally i receive around 80 visit per day from them
some of them gets 20+ daily some 2-3 only

But none of them gets any click !
I mean as far as i know CTR should be something around 5-15 % right ?
I got no any click yet
Let alone the revenue

Is this normal?
What is the avg CTR on domain parking? (i mean an estimate not an exact number)

So I'd be happy to know some opinion
Thanks

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
On commercial ads a CTR of 0.7% is rather good, most perform around 0.4% or less.

Parked domains score even lower. The main reason for that is the fact that visitors do not see the website they expected and click away almost immediately.

It is way better to use a coming-soon page or so which you can add your own code to to generate ads to be shown. That way you can influence what people see and thus increase the CTR.

Hi

you won't find on google, because it's propriety information and only domain owners and ppc services, will have that data.

though goog may have data from advert payouts to those services, but i doubt it's published

ctr depends on, "what the visitors are looking for and whether or not the links or ads on the page, are relevant to their expectations"

and without knowing what "specific" names you have....

best i could say is, try another parking service and see if ctr improves.

imo...

Forget Sedo... their bot filtering is very weak...
Use ParkingCrew to see your real human traffic...

p.s. Good CTR is 10% or higher...

10%? We have been in selling ads for over twelve years, and if a campaign exceeds 07% it ranks amongst the best ones. If on a parking-page 6 ads are shown and the CTR is 10% that would mean that on each two pageloads you would have over one click. That doesnt happen.

We push both banner-ads and text-ads, and if we would have an average CTR for our clients of ten percent I wold have emigrated to the Bahamas years ago.

i have averaged 20% ctr per portfolio at some ppc's

and have some individual names which have exceeded 100% ctr, simply because that ppc pays if the same visitor clicks more than once.

but it depends on the specific names you have
whether they are keyword rich, type-in traffic domains, traffic from backlinks or just some random names.

imo...

Yes, if ads are relevant and traffic is quality - 10% can be reached easily...
This is per my own experience...
+ the same was confirmed by Bodis when I asked them regarding this matter.

Normally 10 -15%, but you could actually have a 1% or less on Cloud, Hosting, Computer recovery and small Business.

More important is avg. RPM...
CTR is just for fun...

On the few domains I had on Voodoo for 3 months I averaged 20% ctr.

The opinions are too diverse

So what is the deal with my domains i get 80 visitor per day and still no any single click !
what should i do in this case?

If no any clicks - then, probably, these visitors are bots OR iFrame traffic.

Wait some weeks. If you dont get any clicks the traffic sucks.

But Sedo is the worst place to determine the quality of traffic.

I'm currently working on a project at my domain CTR.mobi that is going to be about Mobile Click Through Rate, why your rate is so low and how to change that. if anyone is in interested feel free to chime in.

add related keywords, or tag! I am sure their system will give better ads! direct traffic usally have high CTR, but if ads, doesn't match! no one will click! I assuming your domain are non english , ? am I right :xf.grin:
