advice Slow buyer

They may not understand that just because it is in their Godaddy account the process is over. They still have to apply auth codes etc. Nothing is going to jump out at Godaddy to inform them either. They have to go into their pending transfers in.

No i mean, i have given the auth codes and everything. THe buyer is unresponsive. I would have thought a transaction would be complete within 24-48 hours once those codes were given. Have complained to flippa about it, not that they can do much. its just so frustrating. The domain itself has less than a month before its due to renew, i'm starting to wonder if this buyer is trying to wait it out so i have to pay for an extra year.

I have thought of this, but she is reading the emails on flippa itself, you can see they have been marked as read. So if she can log on to flippa to read a message, surely she can reply?

Sorry, but this has happened to me before ... I call it buyer remorse. They win the auction, then realize they are going to have to re-register the domain for additional $. Sale ended up not going through and I ended up re-registering the domain name and will sell it again sometime in the future. Not sure how long the Flippa "free" re-list option lasts so you may want to check that so you don't have to pay another Flippa listing fee if you try and auction it again there. Good luck.

yeah its frustrating. I have got flippa involved now, and they have sent her a message reminding her that auction results are legally binding and to get in contact. Will see what happens. Should be so much easier than this for the sake of $25! lmao

A while ago, I sold a domain on Flippa and the buyer didn't respond for days.

Sent me his info after about 5 days so I could push the domain and put the funds in flippa escrow. I pushed the domain and requested the funds. After 2-3 days, he told me that he lost his enom password and cannot enter his account. I've sent him messages how to recover his password, etc., but with no reply. I told him again that he should approve the transaction as I've pushed the domain and the fact that he lost his password was not my fault, moreover I tried to help him with it.

Some back and forth with flippa escrow support and funds were approved by the buyer although he lost his password. The domain still has my who is info, but it's not in my account since then.

I do not like to do business with slow buyers, but it sometimes happens. Patience is the key.
