Hello My name is George Verdugo and live in Kansas City I wanted I to set up this page for my Friend Eric Lyon and Family because they lost everything in the Houston Flooding and had to leave his home. If any of you can help him and his familly it would be greatly appricated by them, They did not ask me to this but I felt compelled to do so. Please Help they really need it and have nothing , Furniture, Bedding, Clothing, Computers are all gone due to the Flood. Thanks in Advance #Houston #HoustonFlood #Harvey #Flooding

*** I figured that 15,000 would help them replace ***some of what they lost in their home.

https://www.gofundme.com/eric-lyon-fund - Complete.

For future donations, Eric Lyon's PayPal is [email protected]

Thank you.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Eric may need funds now and later the only reason I say this is because I check the price of bitcoin ethereum and litecoin daily and they are currently soaring and only yesterday I saw a chart showing how fast bitcoin has soared to date

In 2010 you could buy bitcoin for $6 but this week bitcoin is currently at approx $4800 in 7 years ethereum is approx $380 but litecoin is approx $80

Yes Eric does need money now but putting a little bit towards crypto currency now could reap significant financial rewards quite quickly which could dwarf the amount raised already but as we all know money can all go far too quickly generally and even more so when having lost everything and having to start from scratch again due to these floods etc

It might be worth donating part bitcoin ethereum litecoin for Eric and family a bit later on and let the price increase of crypto currency add to donations to Eric etc

Just a thought

Just to validate my point check the current price of bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin today and write down the prices on a bit of paper and keep it safe and check against future prices of these three crypto currencies and you'll see the increase in price over the coming months and this increase in price could benefit Eric in due course when initial fund starts to run low crypto could be used as a reserve

If just 1/10 of the namepros members would donate 1$ it would be effortless for everyone and we could give him a great help.
This would be the spirit of solidarity

We are almost at the GOAL! Please share! Thanks!

I assume the donations on GoFundMe has stalled per @BigBoyDog request for donations to be made directly to Erics PayPal request. That message was posted just after my $41 donation to the GoFundMe page, and no further donations have been made.

I am auctioning domains in my signature, where 100% of the proceeds go to Eric (either to his PayPal or the GoFundMe)

I will try contacting my church today, and see they're interest in donating for ChristianRock.TV... They have some great christian rock at the services, they also live stream, and recently acquired an aged one word .org for their current segments. Does your church play Christina Rock? Maybe you can ask them too :D

If anybody knows people in the DomainLandingPage, or ChristianRock, business please let them know about this winners choice auction. <Link in signature>

What area are you in @Eric Lyon? We had pretty bad flooding over in my area (45&West Mount Houston). Luckily our house and vehicles were spared.. although we were trapped inside for 4 days on our own private island.. My family that lives down in West Columbia is still evacuated because of the levee break in Columbia Lakes, they have no idea how bad their house is yet. My boss had to take a boat ride out to his house (Eldridge & West rd area) yesterday to check on things, Addicks reservoir is right behind his house... well inside his house now..

Houston has really came together and we'll all get through this. (So long that Irma stays away)

Video of the flood, about 1/2 a mile from my house...

Our house is on park Douglas Dr. in the Clay rd. & N hwy 6 area. Just about all the businesses went under water along with the neighborhoods. We didn't expect the water to rise so fast. We bunkered down on the 2nd floor across the street at my Father-in-laws since my house is a one story home. The photo below is an aerial view a few days later of park Douglas rd. after the water went down a few feet. The red dot is the roof of my father-in-law's house and diagonal from it is my house hidden in the trees.

And the picture below I took of my house across the street a little bit before we were rescued and the water level went up a few more feet.

Here's a picture of my mother-in-law and her dog Scout on one of the rescue boats that made the local news.

We are truly blessed to have such an amazing response from the domain community/industry.

There are still so many people out their devastated from this in Houston and my prayers and heart goes out to each and every one of them.

We got word today that looters are going through evacuated neighborhoods near our house, breaking into homes and stealing valuables left behind.

it's so sad! :(

Just saw this. So so sorry. Should I send a donation to PayPal or GoFundMe? It's not like Kickstarter where if you don't make your goal you get nada, right? Which venue gets Eric the most bang for his buck - I imagine GoFundMe takes a commission but does PayPal get a fee?
Nice to see this community lobbying and caring.

Ok I went to GoFundMe - helps keep the public
momentum and plus I can (and did) dispatch it onto FB. Wishing you the best, Eric!

$100 donated, and us guys in Florida are getting ready for the big Hurricane of the season that's going to hit next week. Eric, I hope your circumstances improve and I hope for you and yours to heal quickly from this traumatic event.

If you're going through hell, keep going.
