Hi all...newbie here and just joined in order to reap some wisdom!

I am certainly no domainer but alas that did not stop me from registering a multitude of domains over the past few years. Whilst I had grand visions to "use" each of the domains I registered (you know what's coming next...) I of course just let them sit there doing absolutely nothing. However, I have now started developing sites within a niche that I started working in and have decided to let those unrelated domains go as I will probably never carry through the initial dev ideas that I had for them

I would be grateful for any advice on what to do with the following domains....and try to be humane :)

dyppi.com
eazystreetz.com
footballshirtsales.com
giftgambler.co.uk
giftgambler.uk
goldscrapvalue.com
ichyt.co.uk
koltv.com
pikkl.com
pink9.com
pyggl.com
pykkr.com
qualityfinewines.com
reach.global
roulettecasinoenligne.com
squigglr.com
stikkl.com
tazatv.com
ult2mate.com
ultimate.band
ultimate.bingo
ultimate.casino
ultimate.poker
u-wanna.com
vaporana.com

Told you I wasn't a domainer...

Many thanks,

Rich

I only like ''sort of '' qualityfinewines.com which is a little off because quality and fine mean the same ,3 words 16 letters long ,BUT someone may buy it for 200-300 if you list it all over. But not worth the risk reward ,because it would take about 1000 of similar quality domains and 9000 in fees to sell 3 at 200 to 300 each ,I would drop if refund is still in time

I would let them all go. I did notice the last one as a possible brandable - vaporana.com and Googled it and somebody was using it for what I expected - https://twitter.com/vaporanas

Maybe that 1

Thank you both for your responses (and for not laying it on too thick.... lol), as I mentioned I am no "domainer".

The 5L.com's I registered as text speak brandable domains for startups (pyggl/pykkr etc). I had moderate success with a few ( for example pukkr.com sold for $2K for a $20 reg).

I have just been offered $700 for reach.global via one of the parking sites. Should I take it?

@JB Lions You are correct with regard to Vaporana, it has a following on Social and I was going to set up an ecom dropship site.

The 3 Ultimate gaming TLD's I was going to do branded affiliate sites with but that ship has sailed ;(

Thanks once again and any more comments would be appreciated... ):

if 700 was your first offer then there is still some room on the upside counter with 1600,if you end up landing on 1100 ,that's a good price for both of you

Hi Ben,

I "won" the domain in .Global's 2015 Xmas Promo (some sort of advent calendar, where they gave away "premium" domains every day... personally I would have preferred a chocolate!) and I have paid renewal once already so shifting it would be a bonus...

I emailed the CMO of Telstra earlier to see if they were interested in acquiring it for their Reach Global subsidiary. Was that a good idea?

Is that the company that made you the offer, and whats the renewal on this

No, not as far as I am aware from back searching the name and email address. It is classed as a premium renewal (they never told me that when they "gave it away"!), although I only pay NIC fee (around $60)

On another note, squigglr.com seems to get attention from India for some reason? Around 3-400 visits per week. Very Odd...

Ill see if I can give you some end user ideas when I get a chance,,problem is these new extensions or hacks have to be sold to people who know tech and domains and advertising at the same time or else you would just have no problem selling anything to anyone

Maybe backlinks, used to be a developed site - /QUOTE]

Good ole Wayback Machine... It just doesn't seem particularly "Indian" just offering re-mortgaging on a horrible WP site. And who the hell would re-finance with a company called squigglr!! Sounds more like a range of kids crayons.... :)

Your best names for building out are
~

Ultimate.Poker
Ultimate.Casino
Ultimate.Bingo

Build these out and you have three cash cows if you have the right partners

Vaporana is the best if you're reselling and QualityFineWines is interesting

I am not found of new TLDs at all but reach.global at least makes sense.
Names like eazystreetz are sleazy, just don't sound professional, they don't pass the radio test at all and are difficult to remember.
Avoid random LLLLL like dyppi, the odds of finding just one qualified end user are extremely remote. Mixing letters and digits also doesn't work well.
Overall it is a typical regfee portfolio. I would just set the autorenew to off on most of the domains and cut losses - smile :) you'll save on renewal fees next year. Use your disposable income to buy just one or two domains but quality ones (either on the forum, auctions sites or some marketplace).

Ironically, your best domain may be the new TLD reach.global. If I simulate a transfer it says the fee is $60 so if this is the premium pricing then at least it is moderate, the only problem is that there is no guarantee pricing will remain in the future. Some registries have jacked up prices dramatically. Be careful with trademark issues, reaching out to 'obvious' end users may actually be a bad idea when the domain matches an active, well-know TM.
