Hey nP members,

what was your fastest domain sale?
I mean the time between registering or buying a domain and the final sale of it?

Of course the 'speed of a sale' (negotiations) depends on the desired sale price - but, also apart from this fact, it's an interesting question I think - which means your answers are the real interesting part of it.

So, share your 'fastest sale' experience here!

Accidentally won an auction on park.io three days ago but thankfully ended up selling the domain yesterday for a nice $300(CAD) profit :) Probably could've gotten more but I just wanted it gone!

Okay so here's a reverse.. Some guy bought a domain and I was actually the one late to the bidding party. I really wanted the name so I paid him double the cost a few hours after the name transferred to his account. What goes around, comes around!

Having a good client-base always helps - one of my clients back then contacted me and asked me the following exact question:

"You got any DMV related domains for sale?" : I hadn't at that time - but I always check any opportunities before I answer and weigh the risk - Knowing this client - knowing they do own many ccTLD domains - knowing the average they pay per domain , I found DMV.CC and registered it (back then with Moniker.com) - told him I had the exact match .cc ... $3K now for a quick transaction - the only word he said was: is that your best price? and my answer was: Yea! he didn't hesitate and paid all fees (Not sure if Moniker still offers escrow - but it used to).

It was not their first purchase nor their last -

Life time value of each of your clients is very essential for your business growth.

All the best,
Rami
Good strategy, hah! Love it.
