Grace Delete / DefaultUser / WorldsWorstDomainer will personally thank EVERY SINGLE post in this thread UNTIL someone says something about post count and gets too obsessed about reputations and starts gaming the system etc.

^ That has happened so no more ...was fun while it lasted.

Johname will personally LIKE every post in this thread until he doesn't

No racist, sexist, homophobic material that woudnt be acceptable in the 70s please.
We are ok with boobs and we are ok with men with abs (or whatever it is that makes them attractive). Ogling is healthy. Violence, not accepting that it is shallow and non-meaninful judge of people etc. is not. The most important virtue of this thread is respect for all.

Here are some topics that this thread has had:

Breast Shaped Milk BEER Bottles: Fun For The Whole Family

They would sell a lot more with my FTFY marketing suggestion

http://www.inquisitr.com/21462/breast-shaped-milk-bottles-fun-for-the-whole-family/

Because of this post, I checked for breastshaped.com and it's available. I almost added it to my cart. Could be a fun affiliate site selling breast shaped items. I could see a site like this getting passed around. All kinds of breast shaped items

Frowned upon domaining topic but..

Got my gf's name/nickname today. Months ago, threw out a lowball offer of $200, they replied with $5,900. Wasn't interested. A month later they get a Sedo broker to contact me, wasn't interested. Then they start a 7 day public auction last week with a $0 - $500 reserve, couldn't believe it. Usually with reserves like that, it's $499. Bid $299, only bidder, won Steffie .com Regged in lots of other extensions, and some Dutch site, steffie.nl Lot of steffies out there - https://www.google.com/search?q=ste...AUICigB&biw=1280&bih=544#imgrc=KS4MVIWqkaQwdM:

No, just that one. However she did register her first domain ever in a .com with that word in it. It's really mushy so I won't mention it :xf.smile:

I need to start checking those Sedo auctions more closely. I think they've fallen off since I first started getting into domaining, so haven't checked them in years. I guess maybe others have stopped checking as well. Figured there would be a least another bidder but nobody.

I'm here... I'm from Madeira Island, Portugal and thanks for your concern.

My sister-in-law and her husband had spent a week's vacation in Barcelona just last week. They spent many hours every day at the Ramblas, where the attack happened. We were with her today and she was really nervous with this attack and promises not to go on another vacation away from Madeira again.

RIP to those who lost their lives today.

Both countries are great for vacations. Spain is overflowing with tourism. Some Spanish organizations are complaining about excess of tourism. Portugal, next door would be a better option. Less crowded, lots of culture, warm climate, good beaches, fantastic food and extremely friendly people.

Terrorism wise, so far very peaceful (knock on wood) and safe.

I hear New Zealand is also a fabulous place to go to.

If you wouldn't mind sharing some info on where to stay (Hotels) that are within walking distance of restaurant's and authentic shops that represent Portugal culture I would appreciate it.

I can't tell you of hotels to stay in as I usually stay with family when I go there. It also depends on what type of accommodation you want. They have everything from relatively inexpensive Hostels to 5 star Hotels.

There are 3 major tourist areas in Portugal: The "Algarve" in the south which is very touristy, with lots of beaches, hotels, restaurants, shops and discos etc. Might be difficult to find accommodation in August, but come September it'll be better and less crowded.
07.jpg

"Lisbon" the capital city and surrounding towns is another great place to go. Lots of stuff to do and see. In summer it's full of music festivals, with some of the best artists and bands performing here.

The city of "Porto" in the north is the "in" place to go and becoming a very popular destination to visit. Super friendly people, great food, the famous Port Wine and a boat trip along the Douro river is a must.
enticingdouro_portugal_dourorivervalley_istock_81761189_hero.jpg

And in between lots of lovely quaint cobbled stone villages, medieval castles, stunning monuments, great wines.

Portugal is one of the cheapest destinations in Europe. The food is excellent (especially the fish dishes) and the wines are as good as any French wine at 1/3 the price.

Oh... almost forgot... there is Madeira Island... stress free, stunning scenery, great wine and food, friendly people (if you count me out) great weather and we have the best football player in the world... Cristiano Ronaldo

Thank you very much for the information, I will talk it over with the boss and decide from there.
We were planning the trip for Sept 17.
We are not the 5 star type of people, we enjoy blending into the environment we're in. So 3 stars is just fine.
Seaford is in fact our peffered food choice. I'm Hispanic and she's Italian/Irish so anything from the sea is a plus.
Thanks again @GILSAN
