in germany, we (make that They) love to hyphenate domains. I know, don't ask...as in ar-spiele.de Still, those are two fine ones, in my book.

If I know the hyphens are well accepted in the German market.

By the way, I have for years had a question about the value of the word P.*.r.n.o.s.

You could give us your opinion, and a comparison between, for example:

ar-p*rnos
ar-p*rn

ok, i'll try to make a comparison, as well as I can -
basically, p*rnos is, obviously, the plural version, but in spoken language, it's a bit more old-fashioned, as it were - used by older people. Younger generation uses the word p*rno, or the anglicised version, p*rn. But as far as I can see, you'll do fine with both your picks, just give it a while (what do i know, I'm new to this biz, but I can see the technology timeline, so, yeah, a bit of patience.)

Seeing more articles about how AR will be more popular than VR. Every time I see it I can't help but to think about how I've got these babies below and what it's going to be like when AR casino games will become a hit. I didn't initially see AR and casinos really taking off, but I am seeing huge opportunities lately as the technology slowly unfolds.

in my eyes, AR will be in 'casinos' sooner than we think, since it kinda makes a lot of sense.
ok maybe not the next LasVegas/com, but there could be some nice new businesses coming (or old ones, with a veneer of AR lol)

My question though is (and it may sound naïve because I am so new in this business): how good a keyword can AR be? If it became a thing, like TV or 3D did, is it enough to just add it to the other keywords? Meaning, will it be a good qualifier if a domain has a mere 'AR' in front of it, if AR were indeed to take off? And since most domains will inevitably be twin-keyword domains, how good can they be?
i suppose it's all a yes, and maybe I am asking the obvious, but maybe someone can fill me in

I only have a small AR cover for gambling and "red" cams / live content. I think MR will be the end station together with interactive holograms and fully immersive VR. But there is a possibility the mainstream will decide to call it AR. Just put some money on all: VR/AR/MR/Holo.

Only some casino terms and a couple of the most searched cam / live content are worth it for the two keyword combo (just my opinium). AR at the end of the keyword can also work with one keyword but the first choice will be AR at the front. Also it is key to do some research if there is a good use for the keyword in combination with AR technology and if there is a decent history of sales at namebio.com and dnpric.es to make a potential of a sale in the future even bigger.

People are lazy and prefer to shorten things if possible, Ar should fall into this category of thought/language

To add some more thoughts about domain sales.

I think it is also key to adjust the sales price to the current market. Most VR domains are selling between $200 and $500. Only category killers like VRCasino will sell for a lot. Yes there are some exceptions like StarVR but not verry common. I would say sit on a couple of your best domains as a long term investment and put other domains for sale to cover renewals and to make a profit. I have currently 165 VR/MR domains for sale and 163 of them for 750 euro (some room to negotiate and lower the price). I have 693 domains at NameSilo (not all VR etc related), so i have 1/4 or 1/5 (VR etc related) for sale. First months my asking price was to high... now i have domains for sale not only for end users but the asking price is also interesting for domain speculators... i think 750 is a fair price and now a other domainer can also make a profit long term if the keyword is good enough = a win / win situation.
