oh yes.. that is what I meant.. this was a special bday promo.
not there last year.. or year before if memory serves well.. maybe 10th annivesary now? who knows!

but for sure there are promos on .co.. discounts.. they'd probabyl die out if they kept all regs at $25 all the time.

but whether it'll be $5 or 10 or 15 per reg no one knows. and depending on that, it'll change the data of those conducting experiments like yours. if at 1$ we reg 5k domains, we may reg 100 at $10.. etc etc.. but experiments are great.. plz keep posted! in my view you can't go wrong with 1000 domains for 1000$ to get your money back at least.. in one year span. but.. maybe its just me being optimistic. gl

With around 1300 brand-centric .CO, I can see around (at least) 5-6 selling to end buyers over the course of the next year or so. Will keep you posted.

No, it's not. It's a region in Romania, the same as Bavaria in Germany and it's spelled Transilvania in romanian. I think that there is a small community in US named Transylvania, maybe they will use it.

The spelling it's right in english, but it's hard to think at any commercial use for it english and using .co extension doesn't help in this case.

I only picked up two: ravine.co and quicksand.co these days and I missed two others for being lazy: pictorial.co and scart.co,

not all domains that sell .. in co or any extension are for commerical uses only.

those just sell more often and for more money usually. its all kinds of stuff people buy.. prsonal site projects.. historical stuff.. + 43554354 other things.

It's true, but you want to maximize your chances to have a sale, it's hard to sale even commercial one's...what .co's I have sold this year were related just to ecommerce and technology

I'm talking about end users....I think I have around 8-9 to end users and around 20 to resellers....the last sale to end user was last week

true.. thats what I said.. obvious commericial names will sell quicker and for more.. but everythin can sell... maybe slower.. maybe for less money.. look at the infinity of sites on internet.. commericial ones are just an importnt subset of everything else. like a fraction of it.

anyway.. your experience may be different.. but best to look at bigger picture.. like all namebio sales.. there you can see bunches of things you can't see commercial use for..

I just had some guy email me few days ago about my thoth...co for his school or lab project..

add then add 4354354354 other posisbilities to that one.. and then you will have your full picture of potential sales, buyers, uses etc..

stuff like that

Yeah I believed Wikipedia.

Well saw it was available, fired up google, saw Wikipedia and a bunch of sites has the same spelling, registered instantly. Anyways it's just a dollar. I think I have wasted more dollars on more stupid ones than this.
