Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

longtail middish XXX offr on gd ... solid future keyword.. so I will most likely decline for now..

virtualrealityproducer........com

unlike vr+kw domains, where average/decent domains will see good action too, just for lower amounts.. it may well be the case that longtails will only be selling for the more premium keywords in future... a possibility we must consider! imo

either way, its based on this sort of premise, that I'll be deciding what to keep or not, in my longtails.. as well as vr+kw domains.

Congrats.. GD?

thanks, but it'll be most likely a pass.
but offrs are always great to report for market valuations any given time for all vr domainers.
so I try post them... cause I know I always like to read them from othrs too.

yes gd

Can you tell if most of your offers come from direct type in that being redirected to the gd page or just regular market offers?

wow.. talk about non premium domains seeing action.. just at lower XXX prices..good example! many more to come in future no doubt!

those who say vr will only sell in couple 100s premium keywords are limiting themselves quite a bit imo!

well.. I would take this deal! your call. keep posted.

I would let them go.

side note:
For people still strongly and actively handregging my word of advice is to chill the f*ck out lol. Look at the daily VR names dropping all from people who over extend themselves, refused to take advice, and chose quantity over quality. There are good members on here who've been doing this for years who give good advice with an actually desire to help you save money and be successful. You can rationalize the mass purchases saying you only bought it for $3 or $4 on promo and the all-to-often stated "Well, you never know xxxCrap.com sold for x,xxx"..... "WELL YOU NEVER KNOW" is not a business plan. That is a horrible way to approach the domaining business.

Treat it like a business and respect every $1 spent. Be smart how you play this game. The forum is your greatest asset. Ask questions. If you see someone post a great name you like- get in touch, ask him/her how'd they get it, use the follow button. Hell, make an offer. I've bought more VR names from members on here then I can count.

I haven't handregged a VR name in almost 8 months because I know how hard it truly is to sell names above x,xxx. I know it's tempting because new tech usage pops up but restraint and basic fundamentals will win out.

What I did when I started was create a list of lets say 500 premium keywords that would go great with VR (some of those names tend to fit most future techs), check availability, make offers, and I got some real steals. I bought some good names from members on here too. And don't be afraid to make offers to other domainers- cash is always king. Take advantage of the ebb and flow of the system. Learn the system first. Respect $1

The first 3 were on my list, you registered them just moments before me, nice job!
I also registered 41 similar domains, for like $1 - $1.5 each it's a small gamble I'm willing to take.
