I have written before about striking while the iron is hot on pop culture and political domain names. Back in April we detailed the Shane Burchett the owner of TrumpPence2016.com, you can read the full story here, but the gist of the story is the registrant thought he could possibly see six figures for the name and currently still owns it. It's 2017 no one cares anymore, the election is … [Read more...]

Great read!

Note: If possible - hyperlink the IMGUR link. Saves your readers (who may be on mobile) from copy and pasting.

Trump tweets so infrequently and it's not like there's any other news coming out of his administration. It's bound to stay around forever. I would have held out for more. (Yes, @Grilled that was sarcasm.)

It's quite easy to say in hindsight that you would take the top offer. It's the same as looking at a stock chart and thinking you would have the insight to buy at the lowest point and sell at the highest point.

That said I think the right approach for this domain was to let the market decide the price and sell at the height of it's relevance. It's value has probably halved every day since.

No doubt the seller would like to go back in time on this one.

I'd have taken the money and reinvested.

This is a domain that will drop in value over time, the same as Brexit.

Brex.it was around at some point. Not sure what it went for .Agh really depends on the significance of the acronym . My initial thoughts on the letters C for Comey. After that i'm stuck.

sho8uld have taken the 15k, hell I would have taken the reserve off on Flippa as soon as it hit 4k.

gotta strike while the iron is hot on these kinds of names. No one will remember this word in 6 months, most have already forgotten it.

yea he should of sold the name even at $4k; now he received a $15k offer? he registered the domain few hours before I checked on the day this happened so this was all free money. He deserves to get $0 now imo for being greedy af

Definitely. This pres is bound to throw out another stroke type non-word any day now that will be the new craze.
