This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Why many sales on this thread are not reported at namebio ?
For instance, Afternic is not reporting sales and there are a lot of private sales that are not reported!

Good question.... name bio should mine from here.
AFAIK, Namebio validates sales and validating all of these might be a non-trivial amount of work

That was a good buy for the buyer

Absolutely. It was a great aged .US domain. X,XXX valuation. I do enjoy doing business to those who are looking to boost their portfolio with aged keyword generics.

I have one that would rival the top of the charts coming soon -- probably need to pick up a broker for it. .US may not be .COM -- however, the potential is there unlike other new extensions.

Sold VRNetwork•com on Flippa for $5,000.

Nice sale!

Did you do any outbound? I'm wondering if the buyer came from Flippa or if you reached out to potential buyers with an auction link...

I am also holding the domain name VRNetwork.xyz from past one year. It's already expired. Keep or drop?

8 'VRNetwork.TLD' sold less than two weeks ago (as a package) on Flippa for $21.

Sold platformed (dot) com for $750 via Namesilo marketplace.
Bought it at Namesilo expired domains for $50 + 2y renewal $18.

Short story about the sale:
1. 8 days ago I have recieved $250 offer via email. Replied that BIN is $999 (parked on Sedo) and it's a reasonable price for this type of domain.
2. Next offer was $350 and the buyer said it's a highest what she can offer me. I replied that consider only high $xxx offers and argued why: 12y old name, .net, .co.uk, .org, .info already taken etc. Also I don't need quick cash - it's my long term investment.
3. Next offer was $350 + build me a website. I don't need a website, so I rejected offer and also gave her reasons why. Not just - I'm not interested in it. I think it's a very important point - to argue your view, position.
4. After 3 days she offered me $650. I replied that it's very close to what I want to get and point the minimum possible sum for which I am ready to sell the domain - $750.
5. Deal completed :xf.smile:

We made deal via Namesilo marketplace because of only 7,5% comission.
Earlier I emailed few times to .info and .org owners, but without any replies. So I'm happy with this deal.
