I reached out to several contacts at Sedo to see if they could confirm the sale. . . Dave Evanson, Sr. Domain Broker at Sedo, replied to me and said he was unable to comment about the domain name.

I’ve digged a bit into this.
Sedo’s Lianne van Hoorn is Dutch and I think the 2 mln USD sale refers to Print.com.
IMHO the buyer is the young Dutch millionaire Marco Aarnink, probably for the company operating under the brand Printdeal (Drukwerkdeal.nl & Printdeal.be).

P.S. Or maybe he purchased it for his company (he’s the co-owner) Rhinetex BV, which operates in the textile printing business.
