What are your thoughts on .online domains?
It's very generic and not as ugly as .xyz for example, so that's a plus - but perhaps a little too long to have any success...
Plus most good names are either unavailable or premium...

baida.online (not mine) sold ¥4700 ≈ $650 on west.xyz
fixed price.
most of chinese domainers thought it must be end users.

@Jurgen Wolf .Why don't you show us some of Your names?
Especially the ones that you expected to get inquiries on by now. (June 2017)

Use reverse WHOIS if you can't live without my domains... and don't waste my time...
Many my domains are known on this forum... who reads it...

I did check and I'll repeat this once again
"You should stop spreading negativity about new gTLDs, because the success of them definitely can't be measured by your portfolio"

Been quiet for .online, but did just sell an LLL.online for $1200 to a buyer in Thailand.

Inbound email inquiry; deal via Sedo escrow

$4 investment

Congratulations! Patience pays for extension like this. I hold on to only echeck.online after dropping others because of high renewal fees.

Own one .online domain name, as that name closely matches a com I have with the word
" online " within.

Bought it to avoid a competitive site from closely matching my com domain.

The " .online " domain has had a little traffic to date and anticipate will renew the .online for reason above, maybe will use it as a " forward " to com site eventually.

I'm now down to a few hundred .online's, down from over 2,500 a year ago. Best renewal/transfer rate even now is $15 transfers into Namecheap (down from about $25), which makes it hard to invest in these long-term in bulk. For that reason I'm only planning on retaining the most meaningful of my .online's... for example:

SportsBetting (this has sold very well in a number of extensions - also Casino.online sold for $201K this year)
FPV (first person view)
DWI (Driving While Intoxicated, the official term in some US states)
CBN (cannabinol)
CBG (cannabigerol)
LawGroup
FreeDelivery

etc

Also some geos.... for example:

ATL (Atlanta)
Bavaria (Germany)
Boulder (Colorado)
Chattanooga (Tennessee)
FortCollins (Colorado)
Indy (Indianapolis)
Topeka (Kansas)
etc

I just decided to rebuy my old that dropped and bought jet this:

microflats.online
findflat.online
findflats.online
cheapflats.online
rentflats.online
mietpreisspiegel.online
findapartment.online
findapartments.online

I had some profit sales last year of .online in the $$/domain range (so no big hit, but I hope the potential will be discovered :) )
