Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Disclaimer / use your own head. I could very well be wrong. Mobile may be a hit someday....I just doubt it. There will of course be a rare mobile VR keyword sale, but that\s not a reason to invest in dozens of mobile domains IMHO.

Good clarification, I totally agree with her.

Good deal, hope it works out for you. Amazing the effort & money being put into VR now. I believe we will see the Christmas of VR this year. Will explode over the coming decade...for better or worse. Some of us may never leave the home again!

Michael Bay’s ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ VR Experience Coming to Theaters, Imax VR Centers

Michael Bay and Lucasfilm’s ILMxLab have teamed up for a special VR experience for Bay’s latest installment of the “Transformers’ franchise — but there’s a twist: The “Transformers: The Last Knight” VR experience won’t be available on mobile or home-based VR systems at all. Instead, it will only show for a limited time at Imax’s VR centers as well as in select AMC Theaters.

The VR experience, which was produced by Bay and ILMxLab in cooperation with Paramount Pictures, puts viewers in the middle of a fast-paced shooting game, where they can help the Autobots face off against the Decepticons. The whole thing lasts just five minutes, and makes use of HTC’s Vive VR headset.

“I wanted to do something special for fans, to let them feel what it’s like to be in the middle of intense Transformers action,” said Bay in a statement. “ILMxLAB was a great partner in delivering this experience, and pushing the envelope of what VR can do.”

BAM!!!!

Google Is Experimenting With Virtual Reality Advertising

Google has just built a prototype for virtual-reality ads on mobile devices

This is how the VR rocket ultimately launches... IMO, once the big-boys finally figure out how to monetize this tech, we're off to the races... ;)

Marketing VR
VirtualReality Ads

good stuff bud.

I am definitely counting on advertising and VR.. renewed most of my stuff in that area....

That's the last place you should've used.
Sedo/Afternic are two much better options for VR 4L.
IMO
Best of luck anyways.
You were right, unfortunately. VRMV (king) maxed out on flippa at $405, I thought it would reach at least 1000, which I assumed was the base price for 4L VR names.

@techname
I was watching that auction, what a shame. Would have reached 3 or 4 times that on sedo/afternic minimum.

I've been selling off a few in the $999-$3000 range lately. Probably selling off some that I'll regret in the future, but with over 600 VR domains - I don't mind taking that risk once in a while! :xf.wink: Overall, I think the entire VR industry is still growing, but it's hard to say if the demand for domains is increasing. I think the only reason I've sold a few lately is because I've basically priced 100+ domains for low prices, which results in a lot of great deals for the buyers. With that said, I've turned a couple mid x,xxx and one low xx,xxx offer for one of my domains that I consider very 'premium' :xf.cool:

well done!
sounds like your big folio renewals are all paid! ;)

the industry is growing slowly. it'll take some time.
demand for domains is growing at roughly same pace. so slowly too.

can you share the names you sold? or by pm if needed.
thanks!

If I were the owner of:

Vr-s * x
Vr-p ** rn
Vr-games
Vr-apps
Vr-casino
Vr-poker
Live-vr
vr-chat

and some more.

Possibly would be the happiest domainer in the world, but I have to conform to:

apps-vr
chat-vr
mobile-vr
online-vr

pc-vr
s*xe-vr
vr-download
vr-kit
vr-party

vr-pc
vr-p*rnos
vr-set
vr-sound
vr-travels
web-vr
webvr-design

All dot com

It should be noted that in the languages that come from "Latin" (French, Italian, Spanish, etc), vr is at the end, so it is possible that there will be names with hyphen and vr at the end that have value.

Imho.
