Did I say that Merged Reality was MS? I said it was associated with them, because of Intel, of course.

They didn't invent Mixed Reality as a term, but they sure made it popular and almost like it's their own personal technology.

Elad, you can ignore the above message. Not sure when it was written but it was saved from a previous debate. I didn't mean to post it. The message I intended to post was below the first in reply to your question about mixed +keyword domains and the other one hitched a ride because I apparently forgot to delete it, because that debate was long over. I don't even remember writing that stuff, that's how long ago it was lol

Let's hope the amount of sales will rise after the launch of the first MR headsets at the end of this year.

Interesting to see if there will be startups behind the domain sales.

I have MoveMR in king listed for sale at Sedo for €2500.

Honestly I don't think it matters too much because the dual usage creates scarcity which positively impacts prices for us investors. If someone wants to make an MR play, they have to offer the "minimum" of what the more established usage of "Mr.Mister" could bring on the open market. Same for AR being able to stand for Argentina, Arkansas, etc. It was hard finding deals and availability on those names and of course VR and Vacation Rentals imo.

Here is an article from a Finnish newspaper about the Finnish MR startup "Varjo" ("varjo" means shadow). Their website is in English, worthy to have a look. Quote from site: "We will announce more information about our first technology preview product and our mixed reality solution later in 2017."

Varjo intends to become a big player.

Noteworthy is that on the bottom of the newspaper article they refer with "mr" to Mixed Reality. The article also states that "media and analysts" put MR under the AR label while companies like Microsoft, Magic Leap and Varjo use the MR term. VR, AR, MR are put together under XR (extended reality) term.
