Last night I ignored the urge to register SpaceShipThree.com , and today the .com .net .org and .whatnot is all taken.

Today I decided to redeem myself and find another good dn investment. After a bit of investigation I discovered the huge potential of Augmented Reality: Google Trends: augmented reality . The estimated AR market size in 2014 is $732,000,000 , especially in AR marketing.

I think adverts and billboards shown as augmented reality on mobiles will become simply huge, and so I decided to get a piece of the pie, all new .com registrations:

ar+
advert
adverts
billboard
billboards
registrar

There are still a lot of possibilities available, so I thought I'd share this so you can also get a piece of the action :santa:

I've had some pretty consistent interest in the non-hyphenate version of the name over the past 3-4 months, so you should end up doing okay with this name, IMO... ;)

Emirates eyes AR goggles for staff and passengers as it fights to stay ahead

Emirates, hoping to shake off budget airlines coveting its long-distance customers, has set its sights on goggles.
The Gulf carrier is studying ways to equip staff with augmented reality glasses that display a passenger's name and travel habits, allowing more personalized service, Emirates' Chief Digital and Innovation Officer Christoph Mueller said. Travellers may also be given eyewear to help them navigate airports or browse food menus.
"We could enhance customer service tremendously," said Mueller, who was appointed last year to help modernise the world's biggest long-haul airline. "The consumer will want to interact in a completely different way.".....Read More

I've trawled though many established sites and from what I've seen it seems to be following the same pattern as VR. Product and services with prefix and brands using suffix. There's always exceptions where the reverse works better due to the nature of the keyword. Some companies will want to lock down both while others simply won't care (foolishly imo).

I sold a good few VR names to end users where they operated on the reverse reg and I had a tough time
extracting anything over high $xxx.

Hence why I wouldn't go any higher on ViewerAR that you sold to me. The reverse reg is by far the better play with that keyword.

The future of Snapchat filters could allow you to have virtual sex with whoever you want

Have you ever thought about using Snapchat’s filters during sex? Try it! It could really up your role-playing game—you could turn your partner into a Disney princess, a cat, or even a strawberry! As soon as we overcome the turn-off of holding a bulky piece of glass and rare-earth metals between you and your lover, augmented-reality sex could become the next big kink thing.

Augmented reality (AR) uses a technological interface—such as a smartphone or Google Glass-like goggles, such as Microsoft’s HoloLens—to overlay computer-generated images on top of your real vision, fusing a virtual world with your own. Snapchat filters and Pokemon Go have been the two breakout examples of this nascent tech thus far, but Silicon Valley is only just getting started. This technology will soon saturate every part of daily life—including our sex lives.

Since AR overlays whatever virtual images we want to the real world, it will release us from the permanence of our given biological features and allow us to alter our appearance on the fly. When we apply this tech to our most private moments, it will also allow for the quirkiest of our fantasies to become visually real.
