Did .top just lose 430,000 registrations?!

According to Domainpunch.com, .TOP today dropped 437,000 names and are now below 3 million registrations.

Massive loss! Obviously mostly because of all these campaigns a year ago.

But already the idea that I would give this .top domain in exchange for a or some or all other domains which are existing, away, is a serious sign of reality loss.

You even did not realize that the domain toptoptop... ...top.top has nothing to do with GoDaddy, it's offered only via Sedo.
The only way trying to get this domain is to make your bid/s via Sedo.

Sedo is the domain marketplace #1 in domains.
That's why you find the most expensive domain of all time and other .top domains there.

But the remaining part of your answer is wise, seems you have accepted that you can't top it.

The point is, no one needs to own the highest possible domain like no one needs any high end luxury art at the end.
But you can be sure that many wants to own it and I am sure we will see, with every new sunrise, even more will want to own it.
Because it's made just to own it, to show it, to sell it, to purchase it and... ...to own it... ...and so on - which means; that it's value is increasing permanentely.
Like art in it's huge market.

In this case it simply works becasue .top = top.
