I 'm maybe out of patient but I see this site there are a lot of seller but few buyers. No one of my domains habe been sold, no one have not even views, I paid for a premium service that didn't have seen any result, so I'm asking you, did you make a great sell here?

I'm still waiting even an offer, but no one has come.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
To which site are you referring?

Sounds like unfortunately your names are not as good as you hoped they were .. or maybe you are pricing them too high?

Might I suggest you posting a couple of your domains in the appraisal section of this forum to help you get a better understanding of the value of your domains and possibly where the best place to sell them would be (if anywhere).

Good luck with your domains! :)

...because it's not that simple to reg anything for $10 and sell for $2,500
especially in a couple of weeks after registration...

it made me mad too years back. and still does...

@Jesus Moran

Thanks for being a member. =)

If you are referring to the domains you have for sale here? Please keep in mind that most of the sales here are to other domainers or brokers... NOT end users.

Secondly, looking at your posts and what you have listed for sale, unfortunately I don't believe many of them are even worth the reg fee, definitely not to other domainers.

Your only hope is looking for potential end users.

As you can see most of the domains selling on the open market here are fire type sales. I don't know what happens on the fancy paid side of the site.

Well there's no difference here and the fancy side, I mean, maybe my domains are bad names, but they aren't too bad for receive a minimun offer. I offer my domains here because I though It was a good markeplace, though wrong.

Still desappointed

Generally it is a wholesale marketplace with the odd exception. The problem with selling here is that the purchaser (members) is looking for a bargain he can flip and make money on. That rules out recent hand reg domains and just generally poor quality domains.

I think a lot of members on namepros look for the fire sales when inexperienced domainers cannot afford to renew. In most cases a few domains with potential get cherry picked and the rest of them drop or get if the seller gets lucky a few of them will be bought up by another inexperienced domainer.

It's all supply and demand..... supply something that is in demand and you will have a sale.

Hi and welcome to Namepros!

Unfortunately, it is extremely rare to hand register a domain and 1 week later sell it to ANYONE for $2500 much less to other domainers/brokers who do look up the information of the domain. This is very common with people new to the industry (Reg today and list for $10k on sedo tonight)

The auctions here do get buyers, I have sold many many domains here. What you will get here will be Reseller prices (wholesale) and occasionally you may be surprised at how high one will get in auction (consider this an unexpected bonus)..

If you are certain that your domains will bring higher returns then you should list them in the marketplaces as well such as sedo, afternic etc and sit them on a landing page.. then wait it out.. remember that getting a premium price can take a day or years. this is not generally an industry to turn little into a lot overnight..

Thanks for the advice, yes, I'll try my chances, maybe development some ideas to maybe up the prices. I already working on that, I like 4btc.co, I wanted sell asap, but now I like the idea of build a shorter link on that domain name. Maybe I can let it that working while I do anything else. I try and I fail, I'm not giving up, but now I can understand that maybe my criterial to domain name base on btc world are no so good as I expected.
Thanks again for your reply.

I live in a country on the brink of war, with 2 children and I was looking for an exit for this nightmare,
I reversed my money looking for that exit for me and my family, was desapointed because is the sum of all, and I thought those name are great for the btc world, after a week I can see are only crap....

Thanks again

Are you for real?

You are offering CryptoGamming.com for $2,500 min offer for something that is absolutely worthless.

Just because you add "ts not a mistake, the extra m will give you a memorable name to your visits. " in description does not make the name any better. It is an awful misspell on a 2 word domain ending in "ing". Even CryptoGaming would be a hard sell at $2,500.

Yes its for real. I know its a awful name even has a "mistake" but google means nothing to common people, and today is a big company. I think the domains name are really great, but maybe I just don't know select apropiate names and I try to sell it even it worth nothing.

Agree on the crazy price and on the second M, thats obvious.
But I am not sure if you are aware of these stats that using a domain ending in ing.com according to:

I am sure many use ing in the end. Many use it in word+word+ing. Very often that word+ing is a standalone word in itself separate from original word, like marketing, hosting, catering, building, training, dating, consulting etc. so are in effect word+word

Gaming, probably is one of those words, although not top one, as normally not many companies choose "gaming" as part of their brand.

But they still don't sell for much (low xxx in auctions for better ones) most of the time.

ending in ing is good imo when it makes sense...
The only reason misspellings sell is for existing traffic. If it doesn't have any then I would suggest not to register it.
I suggest instead of hand reging domains,
buy in the aftermarket,
Look around, research, check you gut, don't jump on the first name your interested in but make a short list, ask others opinions for other perspectives, then choose. I think for as little as $20-$50 on namepros for example you can find something much Much better, imo

Unless liquid, you should be able to see and explain why a business would benefit from owning it.

P.s. sometimes it's better to sell cheap or drop names and use towards aquisition.

That's pretty sad alright as wholesale pricing and value. My assumption too is I think the gambling, betting and casino names probably had their sweet spot some years back. Thx.

Sorry about your situation...
From my personal experience (just my opinion)..I never gamble out of desperation..hoping to "hit it big" on a small amount of money..
Cause of that lesson, I have set myself on a strict budget..

Hope you make a little profit on your domains

If you have the time maybe build the site out as an informative site on bitcoins with some affiliate ads for revenue and an engaging Facebook page to help drive traffic to your site, worth a shot till you sell it or not. Maybe the btc in the domain may help a bit with SEO, but others know better.
