Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Yeah you're right, you don't have to die to drop golden nuggets. I've been sloppy and busy and lost great names before, too (FrackingJobs.com).
If it was yours, thanks!
I remember it like yesterday when fracking.com expired. I called the owner and he wouldn't accept my $1000 offer. He said he didn't want the money or domain! Unreal.

Bought HempS*H*O*E*S in king on Namepros a year or so ago and I have been turning down low-mid $XXXX offers (4 of them so far)

I decided to splurge and bought MarijuanaS*E*C*U*R*I*T*Y in king and got a 5 Figure offer a week latter...and still negotiating the deal.

This market is all about end users. The trick I believe is in the ability to communicate to your end user. As in the above sale, either through random luck on a auction site...or true salesmanship.

Brokers will have a lot of catching up to do to understand this market.

One has to understand growing, retail permitted stores , extract companies, vape, horticulture equipment, bonded transport, pet care, catering and food services, edibles and medical care, the list is endless.

Hopefully this forum can help all of us communicate as the rollout of permitted entities happens in late 2017, and 2018.

I had a inquiry on Bostonleaf, I have leafboston also. I held at $12,500. They asked to put down a deposit pending permit in 2018. I'm still thinking .

Massachusetts is going to have unlimited stores, although the final on this is coming in today or tomorrow. The July 01st deadline is near. It's probably going to be taxes at %12 and unlimited everything. Or close to that.

Just a example of what this market is looking like, in 2018.

Best of luck out there.
Danny

Must admit, quite the learning curve for me...things such as extracts, legalization, strains, parpaphelia (not sure of spelling lol)...
Bottomline..there is niches within niches within niches.. and so on!

TOP POT

in .net & .org

I liked it because it was a palindrome, .net was an expiring auction, grabbed the .org as a handreg because it was available, still waiting on response from the owner of the .com

I got CannabisBuff.com not so long ago, have been slowly turning it into a online headshop, while learning to SEO. But have also been looking to sell the domain.
