I have been using Hubspot Sales (formerly called Sidekick) to track when and where my emails are opened for a couple of years now but it has been failing me recently. There are quite a few alternatives out there such as Boomerang for Gmail, Yesware and ClearSlide - so my question is which one is your favorite?

I'm looking for a tool that is compatible with Gmail/G-suite and i'm happy to pay for it.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I've been using Mailtrack.io. It's simple. Just tracks email opens & the email client used.

Doesn't give other intel - like location etc. But so far, this has been sufficient for me.

IP address or location is a must have for me personally.

I've recently started using streak, has location and desktop notifications when your sent mail is viewed. Lots of other features too. It's for Gmail/chrome browser only.

I'm trying Bananatag Gmail plugin at the moment, their free plan allows up to 5 emails a day. It tracks email opens, link clicks, ip addresses, locations, browsers, OS type, desktop/mobile.

I sent one outbound email recently to someone that was forwarded to 9 other members of staff in several different locations in the US in the space of 3 hours which was interesting to see.

I used Streak for a while and the tracking was not bad.

It told you every time someone opened your email and each separate instance it was opened, if it was opened more than once.

It also gave the time and location of who opened it.

I haven't used it in about a year though.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to give Streak a try.

Hey Doron,

Curious how your Hubspot Sales has been failing you recently. I also use it.

It stopped tracking recent emails for me.

SalesLoft is a good email tracking software. With Salesforce CRM, you can transfer emails & bulk mass emails integrated with Owler and CrystalKnows that helps you personalize each message and increase response rate.

Hope this helps you :)
