discuss Does the domain name with (-) has no value?

I have started domaining before a year and still learning.
I want to know , if there is any value for the domain name with (-) in it...

For example : video-games.com , play-games.com e.t.c

if it has value what could be range between for .com , .net domains?

Few days before i thought of booking "game-consoles.net" and a person told it has no value & not worth it's reg fee.is it true?

I think it is a good one. As you are developing it then it would be beneficial for you, might take some time though. Some Nice Affiliate sales could be achieved with seo tweaking.

The main reason why i bought is it has been registered from 2003...
Which makes it good in seo...

Good luck with it.

I think a hyphen in a domain won't affect a website if its seo is on point.
