I'd like to hear your opinions of 5L non dictionary words but pronounceable.

The 4L are going hard left and right for different values. How will the future be for 5L and what are you sales? I'd like to gather opinions here as i own personally own some brandable names but are a bit quiet. I bought Favou.com for example and i'm curious what that will bring.

Please share your experiences:)

Happy Selling!

Good brandables will always be in demand. But this is not a new trend at all.

I know it isn't a new trend at all. More likely i wanted to know if the interest goes up from 4L to 5L as the 4L increases and no handregs are available and what you experience is with 5L non dictionary

There are little-to-no 5-letter pronounceables left, so I had a really difficult time finding any to hand-reg.

I did find two, that I think are decent? eztru.com (I also bought eztrue.com) and Qkind.com. There is no other combination available for a single letter + "kind" (before or after the word). Bad purchases, or will these typically only survive on Brandbucket or something similar?

There are still a few left. I sold snopz and tixoz.com they even didn't make it at Brandbucket. Picked up favou.com yesterday. I think they do well for new brands, startups etc but it needs some patience.

There are a few brandable 5L left to hand reg I bought a couple a couple of weeks back but I do enjoy the searching for them almost as much as owning them

True, i feels like a creative challenge. Although some don't make sense but are pronouncable. Most of the social media, apps etc we use today are non dictionary words. Just waiting for the right buyer. Read the story of the WhatsApp owner. He is dutch and sold the name for peanuts to the CEO. At that time it didn't had much sense

I am also a big fan of pronouncable brandables. With the rise of Startups and new apps their demand will likely to be increase.
And there are still some good unregistered ones available out there.

Btw, just curious, Where did you sell your brandables?

Got some investors around me which i approach. I found them mainly through Dutch domain websites etc. Even not the large ones like sedo. Lot of direct approach and i keep previous buyers updated with new available stock

Oldish thread, but thought i'd share: I picked up Padobe.com last week I believe. Apparently its a term used for papercrete.

I agree, I feel that I ought to keep them as an investment for the future. I don't think I could sell Kuffy, even though it isn't a name I would have chosen for myself normally. I found it in a drop list.

It looks as if you have to be quick if you want them from the drop lists. I managed to find AMtow.com just now. It's not really a single word in my opinion, but morning tow seems to be brandable.

Tried GDcloseouts? Its like finding needles in the haystacks but you can find good pronounceable 5Ls if you look close enough. :)

I don't do much with GD, but I picked up cunby.com in the car park this morning for reg fee. I can't work out if that is rude, a personal name, or a geo domain.

It's what you make it.
That's how random brandables work. :)

I tried selling Komyk.com on Flippa and no interest whatsoever. Weird!

I guess if it sounds good then it is good. Thing is when businesses use a made up word for their business and can't register one or it cost too much to buy they can just think of another, or add another madeup or real to that name, but it won't be 5 letters anymore. Even though they don't have meaning, one particular name might suit a particular business more than another. 5-6 or 7 letters it's the actual value of the word that determines how desirable it is.
