Okay, so am so new to domaining I am not even sure what to call this. I am actually pretty freaking excited writing about this. I am certain many of you will be like dude, newbies be like excited for nothing! LOL
Well I was curious about some of my domains, so I typed in the web address. That wasn't the exciting part. The exciting part was seeing the new landing page that @toughdomains has put out. I will admit I have given them and him their props in that past! I am receiving no money for this! Rudi has answered a million questions of mine, so I feel appreciative, so that is why I am writing this . . . along with the fact that I am freaking jacked. I love the new landing page. Now it is time to move all my landing pages to this format.

This is so you can see what I mean . . . blvq.com that has no logo. jfunk.com does have a logo.

So is Want2learn too easily pleased? LOL

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Remember the features can be turned on and off. I agree that some people will like/dislike because of info provided. Thats why turning features on and off is a nice feature.

@toughdomains your right it could still be a bit upgraded but all of this depends on the domain owner, buyer and seller vision, you cant have the perfect landing page (product) there will be people that will like it because it has so much information and there are people who wont like it because it has to much information (could be more simpler) it all depends of the individual's taste you can't please every one. :xf.smile:

Also there is no need to add all the features you mention, sometimes the more information you add the more confusing it starts to get for the customer and more bugs (problems) start to appear.

Don't forget most times a buyer is reaching to buy your domain not because the stats it has or searches etc... they reach you because they like the domain, it brings enormous benefits, to secure their brand, because of security, etc.. Also they already did all research on you and the domain so all the stats etc.. on the landing page doesn't matter to them. I think the most influence thing that in your landing page is a logo and a vision of the brand it can become (this is just my opinion).

The features you mention that i would add is:

-escrow integration
-ability to upload a domain logo
-make offer (a box next to the lease box)
-other domains you sell
-responsive design to work on all devices
-UDRP compliant text
-make min offer

You can create 1 shared host and use a plan that lets you add domains, this way you just need to pay for 1 hosting plan and create landing pages for all your domains.

Don't see the need for the parking feature (this is my opinion). Also you might be diverging in your goal your becoming more of a parking company and not focusing on the landing page (but its still a good alternative to be able to park the domains)

Domain age can be added but not that important almost every one even end users search whois for the domain.

alexa rank don't need

back links don't need

-buy now or make offer features you can just add a make offer box next to the lease one.

Keep up the great work (y)

The great thing about this page (and the hardest to build) is if you don't think you need Alexa rank or backlinks or any stat you just switch it to "never show" in settings and it just goes away.

We realized there would be a bunch of people in the "I NEED to see Alexa" camp and a bunch in the "Alexa rank doesnt matter camp so we just said
"Hey let everyone turn everything on and off."

We already received feedback in another thread about adding keyword CPC price to the stats and even valuation. So there seem to be members who like this data and want more and that's why we post here.

We are listening:
Members asked for logos so we allowed logos
then they wanted bigger logos so we allowed larger size logos 300x200
then members said hey I have 5,000 name and I dont want to have to upload a logo for every domain so we created a store and for sale solution that didn't require you to upload a logo.

Def realize we cant make everyone happy and I wish we could but what one domainer emphasizes could be insignificant to another. All we can do here is listen to the feedback and then meet with our team to see if we can fit it into the roadmap and still do everything else we plan. This sales page was the third domain product we offered. There a whole world of instant domain development and port manager within our tool. Whenever we release something we try to end with "No other tool has that" and Im still waiting for a reply but I think this is a first to market. I have not seen anyone provide all of these features in one for sales page that requires no coding.

We have already made 2 changes to this page based on feedback from this thread alone. One was planned one was not.

@toughdomains don't get me wrong i'm not saying its a bad landing page also i'm not saying not to add those feature i was just leaving my feedback and opinion on what i would need and focus on for my landing page because i'm thinking in building my own lading page for my domains.

Also i'm just saying the more feature and info you add the more confusing and buggy it becomes just take godaddy when i started using them (not that long ago) it was a headache so much features, options and lots of bugs (i remember searching for domains and they would pop up available when i try to register it shows it's already taken) it was so confusing.

I don't know if your a company, have a team, what your business model is, if you sell landing pages etc.. didn't do the research only what i have read in this thread i was just trying to contribute and help.

From what i understand your selling landing pages basically a similar business model has efty. You said "we try to end with "No other tool has that" and Im still waiting for a reply but I think this is a first to market. I have not seen anyone provide all of these features in one for sales page that requires no coding." but dont forget what you are offering (this landing pages with stats etc..) anyone that understands coding and has money (hire coders, designers etc.. can replicate and build a business out of it.
Example: in landing pages business i'm not sure they where the first but efty appeared they where unique (still are in a way, but what keep them in front isn't just their tools it's their brand) now you see lots of company's offering their landing page, you can see uniregistry, flippa etc..

I like company's being innovative and adding more features (the more the better) but lot's off company's start adding more and more feature and start to lose focus on what their about.
Also more and more feature are bound to bring more error, problems, bugs, headaches and start to become confusing.

I apologize if i sounded rude i was just giving my sincere feedback.

I think the dialogue has been great. I haven't been offended. I don't think @toughdomains has been offended as evidenced by the fact he made a change based on this thread.

I have really liked what Tough Domains has provided for me. Can it be provided elsewhere? We have all parked or used various other sites and landing pages. I am not technically savvy. Some would say I have yet to master the art of domaining I am an idea guy that loves writing and teaching kids! Tough Domains works perfectly for me!

The dialogue has been great and we are working on making that sales line editable. Keep the feedback coming and a big thank you to everyone for helping us make this feature better. All of us are smarter than one of us!

@toughdomains keep up the great work. Listening to users feedback is the key to create a great "product" (y)

@yrworldwide you have a great landing page. Alexa is a great resource but if you have deep pockets you can buy awesome domains and resell them for double the price and the buyer wont care about alexa rank.
example if i buy shop.com for 1,500,000$ i could resell it for 3,500,000$ easily and the buyer would care less for alexa rank it could even have any rank on alexa the buyer would still pay that price without hesitating.
