I have own two of those kind of domains and I feel that one of them might hold some value even if it is not very old.

Where have you had luck in selling such domains?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Outbound Emails to targeted end users in the Geo area related to the domain you are trying to sell.

The good old google search for the location and service then contact the first 20 or exact match results

I've got some geo names for local towns and villages. I think the best places to advertise them is the local newspapers, and even on a card in the windows of local newsagents.

I have tried outbound for one of the name, but I din't get any response back. They didn't even read it :). I found the e-mails from whois as they have no emails listed on their websites.

It is a hard sell and you have to contact many potential end users to find one who will want it.

Usually, you can not ask for more than $150 - $350.

This seems to be the range where sales are made.

Getting more is difficult for outbound geos
