I personally think this is a legit legal complaint as others have mentioned, its easy to mistake the two especially when it comes to app icons at the very least for the two different services. The only backing that Pandora may have in this case is that they offer a completely different type of service and are not competing with paypal in that sort. Paypal uses two "P". Pandora one. If I were the legal counsel, I would repeat this statement ad infinitum

The P looks clearly SIMILAR but to say it look like the EXACT same font is exaggerated, it's CLEARLY NOT the same font.

It is the combination of 3 things....

1. Similar Font

2. Similar Colors

3. Letter P

The combination of all three are close enough that a trademark infringement must be filed. How do I know it to be true? Well.... think about how much paypal will pay to trademark lawyers... they think there is enough of a case. They have way more experience in trademark law and ours are just opinions. In the end I will assume the people filing the infringement know more about this then we do.

I've taken the liberty of designing Pandora a new favicon to replace their so called infringing one, and save the legal system the time, money and burden of ruling on such a groundbreaking, precedent setting legal battle!

I think they should both sue themselves as both logos look like $5 Fiverr jobs.

I really hope Pandora wins, then countersues PayPal 10-fold driving them bankrupt. Sry but PP is a scam artist's paradise.

Paypal wins the suit, Pandora pay the damages through Paypal and do a charge back in few days, That would be best thing ever.

Like most of these, it will probably settle out of court. I think paypal has a solid case and pandora will see that.
