And by big sale, I assume you mean really big!

Hopefully some of your other names such as the recently acquired Italy.tv or Ireland.tv will do good for you as well.


Naturally this doesn't mean that everyone with a country name is about to follow suit and have similar sales, but it is a great indicator of the direction of .tv

I think Fin may be happy to hear this news as he owns the bulk of country names - and of course, Jim with England, Ronnie with Scotland, Ben with Canada and Adrian with Australia - plus many others.

As a few already know I sold US.tv not too long ago but still have the German name for Germany - Deutschland.

Who knows, we may see a trickle down to city level sales - now that would be nice!!!

Amazing news.
In Italy we have Rai.tv (the main public channel) for many year.
Also my sale of Easy.tv was to a French company (and it's developed).

The negotiations took some time and it was through the WHOIS that they contacted me. Very smooth and I wish them the best. I probably sold too cheap, but that's ok.
