Email & Escrow Account: [email protected]

We've made a transaction with her for the domain name: SJW.COM for 41K net via Escrow.com in March and Godaddy removed the domain SJW.COM from our account just 4 days later due to the domain SJW.COM is a fuxking stolen domain and the original holder was acquired it back from our account. Apparently we lost the cash and transaction fees for such a malicious transaction with this scumbag. She is disappeared after we suffered the loss. no mails, no calls.

She is selling some names recently like YIG.COM. please pay attention to her domain list.

We are taking legal actions to against this scumbag and acquired some information about her. Anyone who have her information please kindly help us, we will get you paid on this. We will make her suffer.

One more thing wanna let you guys know is : Contact the former holder and get confirmed before you trade a valuable domain.

You do realise that "she" is probably a "he" .. .and that "Louisiana" is probably "Russia"?

I remember when u told us about this in chat! I'm really sorry this happened! :xf.eek:

but now that I think about it. Can't you sue escrow instead? I mean it's their job to make sure you get the property without getting scammed?

Darn man... really sorry to hear about your loss.

Shocking that they seem to be getting away with this sort of cr@p.

I think there needs to be some sorta official stolen domain database/registry and Escrow should refer to this registry before releasing funds to anyone. Something needs to be done and I think registrars and payment gateways need to play a more active role in helping to prevent these sort of issues.

Sorry to hear this story..........Although, its a good thing Escrow.com started taking photo ID's and lots of documentation. If I can remember correctly, it was to avoid these situations.:xf.rolleyes:

It's easy to submit spoofed documents... on the other hand the money can be tracked. Whether it can be recovered is another matter.
BTW I am pretty sure that both parties had to get 'verified' for a sale like this.

:xf.eek:I can't believe it
If this had happened to you and can happen everyday with anyone then what is the purpose of using escrow services ????

The escrow service does not guarantee that the merchandise was not stolen.
You have to do due diligence and verify ownership history for yourself.

Sorry to hear it man.. Hope things will work out well for you...

Escrow is there to make sure the money and domain exchange hands. As @Kate hinted to, it's really beyond their scope to check if the domain is stolen. I haven't checked, but I'm willing to bet it's all there in the fine print.

Well, at least they must provide all the information on the scammers, including the ID they provided, money trail etc. And if there is a part of work they did not do properly, no fine print should protect them...

ooo so I guess u can use escrow to sell cocaine then.

that sucks and i hate when i hear these stories, i hope you nail these guys

Big target for thefts are the liquid names, 3L, 4L, 3N, 4N, 5N.

You need to get Godaddy to inform Escrow.com that they removed the domain from your account due to it being stolen, that may push Escrow to release the seller's information including name bank account etc. The information will help you track this person.

Thank you Sir, unfortunately that we have to file a lawsuit against Escrow, they won't give us any info unless we get it by law. we are doing that.
