What is good for quick sale, Parking page or a Custom Sale Page

You can sell domains over parking pages.
some parking companies have nice landing with sales banner (I have much less offers with text or ribbon)

I dont have any stats as all my domains are on parking, but I'm sure that sales pages are much better than parking for selling domains.

It entirely depends on the domain name whether it sells quickly or not. It doesn't really matter a lot if it's parked or redirected. But overall parked domains sell domains less than a for sale page. Because there are too many other distractions on a parked page. And of course it depends on the quality of the sales page. In fact, there are probably way to many variables to answer such a simply question. It ain't easy.

Domain Parking only works if the domain receives traffic. On the average domainers portfolio most of the earnings will come from just a handful of the domains unless they specifically targeted only traffic domains to buy. So if you park them for a month or a two can then run reports and anything not making enough income to justify keeping ads on them flip to a sales page.

Can also do your own site as numerous php scripts, wordpress plugins out there as well.

Probability of a quick sale depends on many different things. Would have to know what kind if domain is fitting in this quickly sell able criteria. If its a liquid domain and its priced to sell it can go rather quick. If its a domain with no parking stats or any income revenue can take longer.

Thanks guys. Well, it is true that the quick sale is very much depends on the domain name. I wanted to know a particular comparison between the parking page and a custom sales page. I personally realize that a custom sales page may be a good way to sell quickly as the parking page may take longer and needs traffic but this can be measured by the stats from the Domainers who actually used those two and preferred any one.

Uniregistry pure sales landers are quite nice IMO.
