I've actually thought of starting this thread for quite some time. I often run across dropping domains that literally make me laugh out loud the moment I read them. I don't mean whatever's in the website, I mean just seeing the domain name. It's amazing what words people put together.

So I today I laugh when I see KittenMeat.com has dropped (still available to pick up if you want it). I Google 'kitten meat' and one of the sites that pops up is CookYourPet.com. Another domain that made me laugh, just looking at it. And someone developed it! So I look around inside. In the recipe page for 'kitten almond ding' you'll see in the ingredients list: "Meat from 2 whole kittens (about 2 lbs.)". Then in the instructions you'll see the wonderful "Remove bones, entrails and skin from kittens. Cut kittens into 1/4 inch pieces."

But this isn't about 'funny website content', this is about listing the funniest 'domain names' you run across, where just reading the domain name alone makes you laugh.

List 'em if you see 'em :)

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I won an award for Hugh-G-Rection.com a few yeas ago.
Of course, PenIsland.net is one of the famous ones.

I have seen several names that were funny that people let drop but not recently or domains that make me think what were they thinking I see those type of domains even more often.I don't see nothing funny about kittenmeat and the other domain you mentioned is even worse.I wonder how some people come up with such things :(

i think the Cook islands domain extension is funny. (co.ck)

look at the restrictions:

Domains considered profane will not be considered on any level, and the application will be dissolved with the applicant being notified, and future requests for the same domain name will be ignored. '.ck' domains are monitored on the web, on a regular basis for profanity on the Internet if it is found to be doing so, or if the site is deemed inappropriate, the domain will be terminated without notification or refund.

Great thread! I also monitor the GD expired lists and often have a "what were they thinking moment?!". My "favourite" recently was one which sounded like a failed Shark Tank / Dragon's Den pitch - DiaperMitt.com...

Don't ask how I found these D-:

DomainMarket.com has TaleOfTwoTitties dot com for just $9,888.

HugeDomains has ATaleOfTwoTitties dot com for only $3,095.

I've got CatVomit (dotcom) got a $100 offer on it a few months ago but I turned it down....and I don't know why.

I think Huge Doms sold CatPuke.com, they had it listed for sale for $xxxx now it belongs to someone else.

CatPuke.com is a 16 year old domain.. wow

Edit: Maybe HugeDomains let it expire and some guy won it in expiring auctions.. who knows
