Hi,

I have a big portfolio of domains which I just listed on different website.
It still less than 60 days when it was transferred to me.

I have been advised by experts n veterans to not list them as ICANN will find that and send you 'letter of intent' and cancel your registration of domain and you will lose money.

How true is that? I see several posts about 60 days lock in this forum, some say it still exists and some say it has now changed. Whats the truth and reality and where can I find out more info on it?

Any help from seniors appreciated.

Thanks!

There is no problem .imo

You can transfer it through free push .

You can list all you want but you cannot transfer out to other registrar until the 61st day. Should it sell before that time a push within the same registrar as mentioned happens all the time

What about ICANN cancelling the registration?

I guess the vets are sleeping. I have never heard about any listing restrictions you mentioned

There is no such restriction. You are free to sell at any time without any repercussion from ICAAN (don't host illegal stuff though. That can result in takedown no matter what)

Listing or selling within the first 60 days is not a problem. I sell most of my names only a few days after registration and push each name to the new owner.

The 60-day restriction applies only to transfer between registrars.

Yes. Don't listen to any more advice from your experts. They obviously know nothing about nothing.

Means I can list and sell them on sites like Flippa, Sedo etc. within 60 days and no action from ICANN about it?

Who are those experts n veterans. I am sorry to say but they are misleading you.

There i no issue in selling your domain anytime after acquiring it.

No, ICANN has no such restriction. That said, please be aware that the marketplace might have restrictions around transfer policy. For example, I recently had a sale on Sedo but due to a whois change, it was transfer locked for 60 days. So far, the buyer hasn't reverted with any response including an offer to push within the same registrar. IMO, the sale will likely be canceled.

Similarly, Namejet does not accept domains from private sellers which are transfer locked (or they delay auctions till the transfer lock is released) so that it can be transferred to eNom.

You can 100% sell on sites like Flippa, Sedo etc. within 60 days.
60 days transfer lock has nothing to do with your rights to sell it.
