Hey Folks

So I was wondering....

As some of you already know, I am a big fan of ccTLD. Especially ccTLD's in emerging markets.

What do you guys think are the top 3 ccTLD's to invest in currently?

My Picks are:
.co.za (obvioulsy ;))
.in
.ng

Tdrop in price and momentum of .CC has been a dissapointment.
.fi? waat?
i am bullish abt .us...but might take more time than expected.
.in cant go down....so wheres it going?
.co is a good solid cctld....even though my mind sees it as a .com knockoff. lol.

The up-and-coming domain for tech websites and startups - .io

.IO is a trendy and fast-growing domain in the startup world.

.co
.in
.us
.de

.io .tv etc has limited usability and niche

No doubt .io domains are selling like hot cakes, but tech startups are causing themselves a whole ton of stress further down the line. Domainers know about .io but the target market are not aware about .io .

Nothing will beat the roi of .in at least imo.

.tv sales are doing well, but good keywords aren't cheap, so there's that.

.co is a good cctld but renewals are pretty steep and most good names are taken.

i think .mx or .com.mx could have long term potential. Also watch .jp

@dordomai - .jp I also think would be a good to watch.... just wondering though, why .mx? ... lol, just thought of a funny one to register: Wall.mx :xf.grin:

It's seems most don't like the .com.mx & .mx . I have a few good keywords. I even have robo.com.mx and robo.mx forsale.

For investments that may have immediate returns I personally would go:

1 .TV

For investments that almost always hold their price and have a good chance of higher returns I would go:

2 .DE

For investments that over the much longer term seem to have the best chance of profitabibility I would go:

3 .IN

Of course, it is always best to stick to what you know and understand best - so, based on real experience and profitability I personally would stick 98% to .TV followed by .co.uk and .de

A few questions worth asking:

- Is the appeal of the ccTLD local only (uk/au/fr/de/cn) or global (tv/in/co)?

- Is there a nexus requirement to register the ccTLD (us/ca/uk/au/etc) or no nexus (tv/in/co/.io/ws)?

- Are the number of registrations for the ccTLD more within the country or out of it?

Make decisions based on your answers to the above questions and your interests thereof.

I'm hoping .mx is on the verge of going big (y)

Based on their most current performance data:

in the last three months - .cc is the leading ccTLD followed by .io and next to that is .co.

I think it's still .IO, .IN and .COM (maybe more .ME, .DE in some next months)
