have 4 names at sedo that have been approved to be fully handled by broker dept.
good move or no ?

only respond if you have over 125k in domain sales

if you don't ...don't waste my time your info is not welcome... tired of gurus who think they sold 50k worth of domains it makes them an expert.. do not post here if you don't meet the requirement

The relevant people to talk to are domain owners who have listed domains with Sedo brokerage. Somebody who has sold $125k elsewhere has no experience to draw upon with Sedo.

Dave Evanson is a capable broker and a nice guy. Probably their team will give your names a decent try. I can say that even though I represent a competing company.

Money and knowledge aren't the same thing. This forum is full of domainers with a lot of experience among them. In many cases, people do this part time. I'd rather listen to somebody who's been around for a few years even if he hasn't had the budget necessary to buy domains that could total 6 figures in sales ... than listen to somebody who happened to stumble into a large sale. Wouldn't you agree?

I've sold well over a million dollars of my own domains; thus, I was going to use the "post permission" that you granted me to rip your attitude to pieces, but Slanted has diplomatically and elegantly given you a superb response, even if you didn't deserve it, so I'll try to follow his lead.

I've used Sedo brokers before; there is nothing special (and nothing bad) about their brokerage division. It's unremarkable; you'll get the same results from any established brokerage company. Sales are sales. You either know how to work with both sides to coordinate a deal or you don't.

It ain't rocket science.

Damn. I have 124k in sales!

Seriously though - it all depends on the names and the price that is set. Sedo brokers can't work miracles.

Sorry your condition on who can reply is not yet valid but is broken because you have not stated what the 4 domains are.

With that said how do you expect someone to know if good move or not?

Unless one must believe that names approved by a broker means the domains are good and must sell?

depends on the names and prices. Sedo brokers are not messiahs. Saying this if you want to sell quicker of course it is good to reach out to more people or hire someone to reach out. You must take into consideration that brokers would like to sell as quickly as possible so do not expect enduser prices.
