Me too! I got spoiled with a $200 first sale but I am learning that what everyone has said on here is true. I was registering like a madman at first and I'm happy that this name even sold after thinking about it.

Can you define ambitious for me? I am not quite sure what you mean.

I feel like I did the right thing in this case. I am brand new to domaining and before I ever knew this forum existed, I hand registered a bunch of what I now feel, less than desirable names. Taking a tiny profit and using it towards more desirable domains was the way to go from what I've read and heard even from really well established domainers.

You did the right thing if you feel comfortable with the sales! Don't worry and go to the next one (y)

Is it ok to disclose the name and see what you think? I do appreciate your input.

If you have no NDA (non disclosure agreement) with the buyer, than it is ok.

it is hard to explain... For me ambitious = No Limit. Not only in domaining but in life...:)
To be ambitious in domaining = to be someone who try to make some money that can change his life...

Nice domain. In my opinion high $xxx value. You have to consider that it could take years to sell a domain!
Interesting! Thank you. I don't know if it will be a strength or a weakness in my new found venture but I am OCD to the max! It is good in the sense that my notebook on my nightstand gets filled with names every single night until 3 A.M but it is bad in a sense that I can't keep from trying to manipulate a sale to the point of obsession. All I know is that I am glad I am here to learn from people who know.

congrats on your sale, I don't know how buyers think, because I am not one but to me just about every enduser is willing to spend up to 300 for a domain and not think they are being ripped off, domainers on the other hand want it for as close to zero as they can get. so expecting more might loose you some domainer interest but not many endusers. Just speculation on my part. If the same buyer went through many of the deleted names brokers they would most likely pay a fee plus the sales price, So going a little higher next time might not hurt. IMHO
