Hey guys,

Question. If you are looking at a domain that end-users would sell 3D printers. Maybe one model or a few different ones.
Would you make the domain 3DPrinter.com or 3Dprinters.com as example?

Hence my question, singular or plural in this case?
Thank you for your time and advice. Very much appreciated!

In my view both singular and plural domains will work.

Without citing any research, I find 3Dprinters.com to be more satisfactory for a business that sells multiple 3D printers. Plurality has it's benefit in such an instance.

A domain name is a shout out with (hopefully) relevance to the content it directs it's visitors to.

You can imagine this domain as ISell3Dprinters.com. Now imagine using ISell3Dprinter.com! Although I Sell is not included in the mentioned domains, I see this as what is intended when visiting the marketer's website.

You answered the question yourself. Nowadays every company develops several products, and even if they start to sell only one at the moment, they will list more in the future. So, taking the plural version helps them to stay actual in the eyes of their customers.

I would use plural but keep and never sell singular more as defensive cover
