i read various verisons of this on google..
can someone explain to me (and maybe to more people too) the exact meaning (in domaining world) of placing E before a keyword in a name?

how about the "i" too.

eMail, eBay kickstarted the idea that e stands for an electronic version of whatever the following keyword is. Apple is mainly responsible for the "i" phenomenon with iPod, iPhone, etc and other companies started to mimic the preface to resemble some sort of technological reference

when you say electronic I assume you mean cyber like.. virtual like.. so in the end, refering to internet itself yes?

as for the "i"... I read somewhere interactive.. which kinda makes sense.. but then other places said internet too..

I've always understood "i" as "intelligent" as in smart. Or "Internet". But there's a lot of iProducts that doesn't have Internet capabilities. I guess the meaning varies.

eSports is a huge market and an actual sports discipline now. Gamers playing games in front of huge audiences... In this case the domain has a generic meaning.
