Do you have problems concentrating while working online?

I sometimes have problems concentrating while working on my computer. Concentrating is so difficult sometimes that I wear ear plugs to try and cancel out any noises around me. Am I the only one that finds it difficult sometimes to concentrate while working? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

As a side note, I quit drinking diet coke about a week ago because of all the bad things I read about asparatame. Maybe it's some type of withdrawal symptoms from the asparatame or caffeine. Seems like my concentration has actually gotten worse in the past week.

Sugar ensures that our body produce dopamine. If we consume sugar (or synthetic sugar) without vegetable or fruit fibers, then our brain can not properly detect fructose. Low levels of dopamine make concentration and focus very difficult. Eat more fruits and vegetables (raw or short boil), avoid alcohol for at least 6 months.

Check with your docs or dietitians or nutritionists.

(2 of my programers get the similar reaction - soda and red bull)

This will change your life, seriously!

Cold Showers + Intermittent Fasting (I used to do the 2 x 24hours per week... now I prefer to do the 16 hours per day) - loads of info online with a quick Google search.

Just the two things above will make HUGE HUGE difference on your energy levels and your cognitive skills.

If you want to add a triple whammy....

Then get yourself some Organic loose leaf Yerba Mate (drink it the traditional way in a gaud with a bombisha)

It;s REALLY healthy for you and packs way way more punch than a double espresso and there are no jitters or any crashes. (don't drink it in the afternoon or like after 2pm-3pm)\

Also.. this is actually a biggie... NOFAP (if you not sure what it is...Google it also)

You can have coffee or tea whilst doing intermittent fasting...but without sugar or milk or creamer.. - I hardly have much coffee anymore..only when I run out of Yerba Mate...

I did the whole Bulletproof coffee thing for a while as well...

but I found Yerba Mate works better for me and way way less effort to make :)

1 cup of coffee in the morning and would consume 2-3 cans of diet coke throughout the day.

No problems concentrating once I got out of the " Adult" side of the Internet...

Do snack regularly and stretch and take breaks..

I usually spend/waste 1 or 2 hours for foolish tasks and foolish things that needs to be taken care of.

Once that is done. I would lock my room from inside and I would switch off my mobile before starting my work.

I would also keep doing the task at hand, no matter what.

Nowadays I have a nice habit of cancelling out almost all noise and everything in background whenever I want to work.

I can concentrate in something if I tell myself that's what I want to do.

I'll use advertising my website as example.

If I tell myself today I'll add the website to just directories then I'll concentrate and focus just on that one task and I'll do it for hours.

Try forest bathing (where u walk around trees ). . . It's very popular here in Japan.
