for the second time in less than 2 month someone initiates a transaction for domain names priced less than $2000 then they do not compelete the transaction.

I am using efty.com landing pages ( buy now) , which leads to escrow.com form.

Both times the users registered with escrow.com but did not continue with the payment..actually I called one of them and he said he did not like to continue

I feel escrow.com registration process and payment method selection can stop the impulse buy for domains less than $2000...

If they just start the payment after they click "Buy Now"...maybe things would have been different now?

what you think? and any options better than escrow.com for domains priced less than $2000?

escrow has asked my customers to verify info, send in photo id etc for transactions under 1,000

Thanks. Gonna steer clear of them for a while until such time that someone from the company addresses these latest changes and why many people are having slow to very slow transactions, even errors.. Too many other choices out there.

send them to godaddy auctions
if they don't pay, they get banned

Recently I have 2 transactions got failed at Godaddy.com and 4.CN because buyer didn't pay. I am not sure they would get banned or not.

how much was the payment for, what is the reason for not accepting?

It took me less than 30 mins to get verified with photo ID at Escrow. That's from the time I filled out the form and sent it to the time I received the email saying I was verified. I did this as the seller of a name. I thought "what's everyone moaning about"? But my buyer seemed to have no end of grief getting verified. It was a sale over 3K so maybe that was something to do with it, but the buyer only stayed with it because the broker was very persuasive. Clearly Escrow.coms verification process is losing business but I highly suspect the vast majority of the issues are as a result of the incorrect information being sent, the forms being incorrectly filled out or some other fault of the individual trying to get verified.

I wish a rep from the company would come here and straighten all of this out. Have they or have they not relaxed the requirements for sales under 3,000 USD and where can we find that information on their site. I just looked and I cant find any information about requirements for the sale - but its been a long day for me so maybe I missed it.

I Lost the deal high XXX , after sending outbound, research, negotiating, agreeing. There comes a nightmare escrow.com throwing my deal away due to some crap buyer verification system. The reason they not approving the payment because they want the address in paypal and escrow match...first they told me the buyer is already verfied and now they giving me all this.seriously buyer lost interest with the procedure and stop responding and i lose the deal...Good bye escrow.com :(

No, I swear I read somewhere on here from Escrow.com themselves that this is being done to prevent money laundering and fight international terrorism. Apparently Escrow.com is going to save the world.

Except in the process, the domainer body count continues to grow.

@Jackson Elsegood

Have you relaxed on some of your requirements for sales under $3,000? Can you please answer some of the questions brought up in this thread. Thanks
