information Detected: Sedo Sells React.com; Global Buys Global.com...

Spaceship Spaceship
Recently, we brought you the news that Avoid.com had been sold for $117,500. The new owner of Avoid.com has commented on our article to confirm the purchase and to explain some of the details behind the deal. The new owner didn't reveal why the name was acquired, but we do know that the buyer of Avoid.com also owns Avoid.co.uk.

Here are the domain name sales and purchases that we have detected this week, courtesy of DomainIQ.

NamePros member @Przemyslaw notified the community of the sale of Global.com. The domain was acquired by Global Radio, a British media brand who previously used thisisglobal.com. The domain name was sold by Global Automation Inc. It looks as though the name was sold in December 2016. We have asked both sides if they can reveal further details.

HJ.com and JG.com look to have sold in China. JG.com last sold in 2015 at NameJet for just over $1 million. The two domains have now been put under privacy protection at 62.com, a Chinese domain brokerage company. The company have also bought 545.com and 559.com.

James Booth sells eic.com and buys bodo.com. James also bought bore.com within the last couple of days.

Andrew Rosener buys NorthernHome.com, BumperStickers.org and TheSurvey.com. Andrew also announced via Twitter that MediaOptions sold Sketch.com, Stereo.com, Valentine.com and Author.com. As of writing, these domain names are yet to transfer to their new owners.

Anything.com sells JCR.com to a Chinese buyer.

Nat Cohen buys RecoverMyIdentity.com. Nat also sold PakGlobal.com to Pak Unlimited Inc. The domain previously had a "Buy Now" price of $3,495 according to Screenshots.com.

Frank Schilling sells StLouisProperty.com, TheAssistant.com and BeachCommunities.com. His company bought many four-letter .COM's in the last couple of weeks. Around fifty of these names have now moved to another Uniregistry account.

Seis.com sells via Afternic Escrow. The domain is now parked at BrandBucket with a "Buy Now" price of $34,995.

Elliot Silver acquires beermaking.com and sealions.com. He also bought accurate.com and penaltyshot.com.

Future Media Architects look to have sold defeat.com and guojian.com. Guō Jiàn is a famous Chinese artist. It’s possible that he acquired the domain.

HUC.com and React.com entered escrow at Sedo this week.

React.com went into Sedo escrow in early December 2016 to note, not this week.

Interesting to see FMA selling recently, not something he used to do.

It can be an app that will help you to avoid people you hate , it will be using the GPS then you're coming across someone you don't like , it will warn you and ask you to use another direction

Is your assertion that JG.com sold in China based off a WHOIS change / update? At the time you published this blog, the auction page of JG.com had a description stating the auction was cancelled.

45 days after the auction ended, the description shows We're sorry, you weren't the high bidder.

James Booth sells eic.com

@James Iles --- you published this blog on March 13th, 2017. According to the below historical WHOIS report, @BoothDomains was the registrant on February 14th, 2017. On March 4th, 2017 WHOIS registrant showed his brother @andyboothsi. It appears WHOIS updated on March 6th, 2017 to LWCRST MRKTNG of [email protected].

With that said, I am wondering if you can confirm if this was an enduser sale, a double flip, a partnered sale, or...? As it appears that James moved (or sold?) the domain to Andy, and in a few days time, Andy moved (or sold?) the domain to LWCRST MRKTNG. Thus, it is not clear if James sold this domain to Andy, and Andy sold the domain, or possibly James and Andy worked together?

Additional info behind this domain: EIC.com sold on Flippa (assuming to @BoothDomains) for $30,000.

If you're wondering why Bidder 1 bid himself up from $25,000 to $30,000 I assume the reserve wasn't met until the last $30,000 bid? Mike McConville of DomainHoldings.com was listed as the broker.

Thus, if it was purchased for $30,000 in 2016, I wonder what the 2017 sales price(s) for this domain was. According to the below article on BloggersIdeas.com, James suggests LLL.com's such as EIC.com can be flipped for 10%+ to another domainer.

I looked up a number of those names. PakGlobal, Global and Defeat are developed and are end user sales. A number I looked at are unused. Theassistant has some bot beta thing on it, not sure if this is real or not. It resolves to docs dot google and some weird long form to fill out.

Parked for resale without usage are Eic, valentine, jg, hg, bore, sketch, author, react, bodo, stereo, stlouisproperty, beachcommunities, jcr.

Too bad that end users have not developed or bought them yet. Accurate and Penaltyshot both good names are still awaiting an end user and available too.

Anything.com sells JCR.com to a Chinese buyer.

Can you confirm a sales price or sales venue? Or is this sale just being reported because the WHOIS changed from Anything.com to a Midai.com email address? Does a WHOIS change to [email protected] email address generally mean a sale? What about WHOIS updates from one Midai.com registrant to another Midai.com registrant (even though email remains the same (([email protected])) such as below)

A few months after this blog was published, JCR.com and other LLL.com's were offered for sale on NamePros by @American [broker] HERE

Quite a journey. Cayman-NJ-St kitts-china-china-namepros? JCR is the only decent generic wide usage western name in that batch. Top Quality Products, Produce, TQP... maybe. XBZ? Lol.
