The Value of Better Domain Names

While domains as internet real estate is how the industry likes to be perceived (certainly helps to market new domain extensions to new domain investors) the vast majority of individuals outside the industry just want a domain name for their website (and they do not want to pay more than $25 for it).

The vast majority of people want to buy a house for £25, but they can't find one.

they can want to pay $25 for it. but they soon realize they cannot.
and thus begins their understanding of how or why domains are the internet's real estate.

its a fairly quick and easy lesson to learn really.

true. if that is how you pu tit then yes... if a guy wants say hotel.com then yes very clearly he has more chance to win lottery than buy it for $25. the former has odds of 1 in few million. the latter is simply an impossibility.

or he can combine the two.. win lottery... and then buy hotel.com
