This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Akos that was a fast sale, did you only fo a 24 hour auction then?

No it was set for 10 days. I had some in interest in PM and they asked me whether I was to put up a BIN to end the auction quickly. I did and someone bought it. I might have left some money on the table but I am still happy with the super quick ROI :)

Domain name: H/o/t/e/l/D/e/c/k.com
Listing type: BrandBucket.com BIN
Sale price: $3115
Purchase price: $3.00
Net Profit after BrandBucket and logo fees: $2,077

Received several emails to sell domain at discount and I didn't listen. It got sold at bin eventually. First BrandBucket sale, listed for more than a year.

Domain name: i/D/a/t/t/.com
Listing type: Efty.com landing page BIN (through Escrow.com)
Sale price: $1,100
Purchase price: $185.
Net Profit after Wire fee: Approx $900. (buyer paid escrow fees)

I sold it mistakenly to someone here for $10 and then realize it was for my own use and got it back in exchange for 2xLLLL.com domains (Those domains cost around $170 to me). Didn't find time to develop that domain for more than a year. Listed as $1,100 BIN and Received offers at GoDaddy, when I countered $1,600, buyer hit BIN at Efty.com landing page.

Congrats. I must say you have a lot of guts. If it was me waiting for my first sale there and it's been over a year I probably would have accepted the offer (not unrealistic offer such as $500 though) especially when the domain cost is only $3. There's always a chance buyer look for alternatives when they have limited budget. But you listened to your gut feelings and eventually got the reward.

Prodromus (com) $180
Outbound - I reached out to the .pl owner a while back (4 months). There was a language barrier but they showed interest but only in the $150 range. After awhile I realized they are probably my only serious candidate so I setup a GD premium listing and pointed them to it. I'll gladly pay the commission to GD for the convenience of the quick transfer on this one. Performing a transfer might have been difficult with the language difficulties.
My cost: $18
