I scanned all Chinse premium (without a,e,i,o,u,v and 0,4) LLNN and NNLL .com and all are gone. I registered last two CP NNLL.coms that were left!

What do you think is the future of this?

CP55.com is up to $7,200 on GoDaddy with a week to go. Anyone know the significance of CP55? I know that CP can stand for chǎn pǐn (产品), which means product & that 5 can be positive in business terms, but is there more to it than that?

CP55.cn isn't developed, neither is CP55.net.

.info is developed.. maybe they want it.. who knows

Just spoken to a contact of mine who said his client was bidding on the name, and wanted it to build a gambling site... "just because they like the name"

Another meaning for CP is... 彩票 (cai piao), Lottery ticket/raffle ticket

I'm holding CJ32.com - I really like the look of it, definitely going to be hanging onto it for a bit longer :xf.grin:

We'll see if this'll turn into another boom like the 4L's did - but falling in love with domains is very real as we can see from that GD auction.

Have a sale in the works for an LLNN.com @ $1,000. Funds cleared. I know @STUART MALOFF had a couple of sales in these hybrid categories this month.

Give a ballpark idea of what the name was? Was it a chip? Did it contain an 8? Did the two letters have meaning together?

I have a CCCC.com deal pending for 9k right now, it contains one number.

Looks like lots of demand going on in the WTB sections for LLNN.

The five figure sales of NO18 and CP55 in the past two weeks have increased the hunger for these.

Maybe we weren't all crazy here ;)

Have received Chinese inquiry without offer for AR99 - any ideas what price to reply back? Or should I put no price and just ask for them to make an offer? This is my standard reply and I translate in Chinese also.

Thank you for your inquiry for xxxx.com
The retail price is US$ ____ or best offer
What is your best offer please?

Suggestions or improvements welcome : smile :

@usernamex - If he asked u about the price, ask him how much he’s willing to pay for OR reply with xxx$-xxxx$, then if he didn’t respond or he told u that it’s too much for that name, after one week, you could e-mail him saying “you’ve contacted all candidates for the domain and since he is only one who’s responded with interest, you’ll offer him a heavily discount, let’s say “xxx$” and are open to reasonable counteroffers.

First step for me is to Google the email address and find out who you're dealing with. Also see what other domains the buyer owns.

I own a 'chip' LL99 and I keep getting spam inquires from China. I typically never answer them, but I thought I would bite and see what the outcome would be.

I fired up QQ and contacted them at the address they provided.

I reached a person that was fairly english fluent, named my price at an auspicious $9999 , they offered $100 .

When I purchased the aged domain I fought for it vs. Chinese proxy bidders like "first", so that offer represented a small fraction of the cost.

I've NEVER had a worth while transaction come in through WhoIs; I use landers. Every once in a while you have to try something outside of your norm, but this just tells me that if the buyer can't take the time to reach me via lander than they are likely just whois scraping and looking for cheap deals.

Yes thanks @DomainVP - I priced it $1588 inspired by the $1595 BIN @Nat Hunt uses or make offer. I kinda got a spammy feeling when they replied asking for my other domains and with no actual offer. At least I got a reply, so then I sent them to my epik marketplace, no word since then, that was 24 hrs ago. I'll follow up once in a couple days using @Kamaz wording just in case. When I got the original inquiry I didn't have a lander (now has my ghetto lander) so whois would have been only option. My names are not organized, bunches without landers, must simplify, that's O/T

And thanks @krx - could find nothing on buyer by search yet I would have forgotten if you hadn't mentioned it, usually I do that first. That also made it look spammy, a real buyer would turn up somewhere you would think.

The exact same thing happened with me. A little research showed that all the inquiries on my LLNN's were from investors. One of them has a huge collection of NNNN.com's. 2 investors asked for similar domains, sent them the list, no reply. Followed up multiple times, QQ, their email, the whois email of the domain name they use for their email address. No replies. :xf.frown:

I can confirm that all "chinese" llnn.com are already registered, so we are in a buyout phase for these domains.

Haven't checked nnll but seems to be the same. More than 80% of owners are chinese.

The definition of "chinese" is very precise:
Letters: No A E I O U V
Numbers: No 4 and no 0 in first position (e.g. 10 is fine, 01 isn't)

I have noticed more interest for these names at expired domains sites. I see this segment as a viable alternative for domainers that want to invest in short domains but want to avoid overpriced segments or non .com names. I've already bought a few of these but I'm finding increasingly difficult to get them cheap, so the opportunity window could be short lived.

I would assume that the remaining 20% will at some point be bought by Chinese investors but only if the 20% decide to sell and if they choose not to sell and by deciding not to sell the prices offered will increase significantly

I doubt the LL. Coms and NN. Coms will change hands outside Chinese investors for some time

For some reason, I am receiving dozens of hits on xf/92 com every day from china.. I hope this leads to a sale that will pay for all my investment in LLNN.com's..
