Can anyone share the strategy that they use to get users to visit their domain listings or auctions on sites like Sedo, Flippa, snapnames etc?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
There are no schemes, strategies or secrets. Buy good quality names and the traffic will follow. simple.

If its parked, its against tos of parking companies to entice traffic in any way, must be natural traffic.
If it is strictly" for sale" then its up to your imagination, remember the guy at a professional sporting event who ran around the stadium with security chasing holding a sign that said runawayshoes.com
Just about every traditional outlet costs money, there are some free avenues like builetin boards etc

I'm a passive seller. I buy quality domains and wait for the right buyer so the auction format is rare for me. Quality domains have brought in enough natural leads to keep me busy. On the domains that I wish to clear out in auction format social media Twitter, Forums etc... can work to bring attention to the auction and since it's an auction that creates the urgency that ya gotta buy it now pending the domain is desirable.

End users won't browse listings on Sedo etc unless they are looking for certain keywords and want to compare inventory.
In general they think about a precise name, look if it's available, if it's not they might visit it to see if there is a site on it. If there is a for sale sign, they can proceed with an offer. That's it.

quick question since you mentioned twitter. what's the "Trick" to get a good amount of followers either Endusers or Other domainers.? I figured maybe Starting a twitter handle with information domainers would love to get alerts about the domain industry but there's so many on Twitter. and BTW. isn't twitter "dead" post what's been going on in the news about Twitter about censorship and also the Potus using it for his bs.

I'd interested in your take on it. is Twitter working for you? do you get responses to your domains for sale on Twitter?

is this why certain domains buy exact match domains in obscure extensions not dotcom just to attract attention on the marketplaces like

onlinecasino.cm?

is this how the game is played?

There are good quality names in every tld. What I was stating is the rule, I didn't say there are no exceptions at all. But yes 99.99% of the time quality names sell with no or very little marketing.
