We all know .COM is king and used worldwide hence it has always high value.
But .NET and .ORG which also used worldwide and These are next best to .COM whether it is domainer or end user.
My Q is Regarding Brandable Names in .NET and .ORG (No Dictionary Words)
Do they have Any Value?
If yes, what percent of .COM
For Example.
HotBot.net HotBot.org
TopShop.net TopShop.org
Whoiz.net Whoiz.org
SRCH.net SRCH.org

Senior guys pls tell us Reseller Value as well End User Value of Brandables .NET and .ORG.
If anyone knows these kind of Brandable Names historical sell in .NET and .ORG please answer with name and sold price.

Thanks in Advance.

.net and .org are good with Keywords (real dictionary words- that too single word domains)
apart from dictionary one word domains only short (3L.net or 3l.org or shorter have value )
Hope that helps

I totally agree with this:

.net and .org are good with Keywords (real dictionary words- that too single word domains)
apart from dictionary one word domains only short (3L.net or 3l.org or shorter have value )

Imagine an invented domain such as google net. Beside the fact it is trademarked and almost certainly taken, who would want to start a business with such a name.

There might be a few more exceptions, may be homonymous celebrities, almost identical business entities or very common keyphrases such as dogtraining where alternative extensions have some value.

Prices are typically 1/10th of the corresponding .com or less. You can check for yourself on namebio. Just a recent exemple: usatours.org sold for 105$ on 2/2/2017.

look as you said that .com right now are the rulers but .net and .org also are in business and so they are the next best to.com. Now see that for resale value check estibot and their appraisal values to have a good estimate.

Again Estibot. Now For Brandables Appraisal. :xf.confused::banghead::xf.rolleyes::xf.sick:

For a .net or a .org to have a good sale value, it must be a highly brandable name and number of possible end users must be high. In other cases, sparing a few examples, getting a four digit price for these extensions in today's market is very difficult. Again you can not put a specific figure on the value of a general .net or .org. It would depend case to case.

I think you're asking the wrong question here. You should ask: would any end user buy a .net or .org brandable for $x,xxx++?

IMO, yes in .org and no in .net (not counting 3L's and 4L's).

@Domains - Wanted You mean .NET Brandables have No Value?
We can use it as commercial as .COM IMO.

Short 3L's and 4L's aside, yes, I'm saying they have little value. Even internet/hosting startups with a little money will make a beeline for a .COM, and not .NET (other more popular alternatives are .CO and .IO). Whereas .ORG is the domain of choice of a very wide range of organizations - often even preferable to .COM!

I feel .net's are going to become extremely valuable in the near future since competition for businesses on the internet is only going to increase, and having a good domain is always going to be an essential asset for most of them, besides other SEO expenses.
IMO of course.

I like .net but would not recommend investing heavily in it. .org has its own identity.
.com will always be preferred to build a strong brand. Developing a .net knowing that the .com can overshadow you is not good.
I have sold brandable .net like bluetree but few .net domains overall.

Strong brandable like icloud.net probably have a market though :)

.NET is generally perceived as NETwork services namespace only! Hence, any .NET websites are assumed to be hosting and related services. This is why cloud.net makes for a great brand.

3L .net - a dictionary word still have a high value:

Some recent sales:

wet.net: $6,300 USD 2017-04-04 Flippa
rub.net 5,500 USD 2016-12-28 NameJet
yea.net 5,000 USD 2017-03-15 Sedo
get.net 4,999 USD 2016-05-15 Sedo
