That's because we were first told that the promo would need to end over a week ago, but we managed to keep it going ...UNTIL NOW!!! Unfortunately, that's it folks...the show's over for now. Of course, AlpNames continues to offer great pricing across the board and, what we very much like to think is, some pretty damn good customer service.

Our system allows the creations of multiple WHOIS contacts and bulk edits. You can opt opt of the 60-day lock for WHOIS edits. You can push from one account to another, retaining the same WHOIS info - but, for most TLDs (not .COM), we allow WHOIS updates that skip the IRTP process (you need to contact our support for this...the skip is newly implemented, but it means less annoying emails for you guys!). You can opt-in to fast transfer...also, we have a policy of ALWAYS processing manual transfer out requests (unlike most!).

Is it normal not to receive any notification when you submit for a bulk transfer? Just wanted to make sure my order went through this weekend.

This made me grin, wouldn't that be amazing! There are so many of us that need that one more day, I completely missed the warning that it was coming to an end- I had about 80 names to transfer!

Please contact our support team and provide them with a few examples of domains included in the transfer and they will look into this for you - it may be that notifications/confirmations ended up in your junk/spam/clutter folder???

Are you able to log in to your account to check the status for yourself?

Nice promo. Got a few at the discount price using bitcoin. It would be good if the control panel can be more mobile friendly.

After you asked about checking the status, I found where to do it. I found all of my domains there. Upon clicking on one, they were "Pending do to non-payment". I thought it was odd that when I initiated the transfer process, it didn't ask me to pay. Anyway, got that fixed. Now I'm doing the email shuffle for my 95 domains that I'm transferring. Thanks!

Great to hear that you managed to resolve the issue!

After the domain was pushed - the gaining customer can order WHOIS-change on his side and opt-out from 60 days lock for this order... and that's all.

No any additional steps at Dynadot and name.com after Dec'1...
WHOIS is changing automatically as before...
So these "problems" are created by LogicBoxes only... Write your own panel!

@AlpNames What do you think about starting new promotional .xyz transfers? You can get more customers and registered domains with you. But you have to start this campaing before May - probably month of promotional .xyz renewals campaign of another registrars like Namecheap, Uniregistry.

As far as I know, Registrars do promotions (mostly) based on agreements with Registries OR in case they have a yearly sale agreement (or maybe monthly) and they are far from agreed amount, they do these kind of promotions to fulfill it.

The thread title caught my attention but..."a day late and a dollar short" as they say.

I test regged a name to see what privacy costs...it says .99...is that the regular price?

Transfer time again for me but as usual a day or too late here, I will wait a few days and come back then and hope some new promos have popped up for registers even if it's the last day before deletion.

Crap. I had 2 domains that weren't transferring because I want receiving the emails through the privacy email. I turned off privacy and contacted AlpNames support to resend the emails using the now public emails.
So, support cancelled my transfer request for those 2 domains and told me to reinitialize the transfer. Of course, this is at the regular price. They told me "Unfortunately the price has changed at the registry and we cannot offer the promo price anymore." Had I known they were cancelling the order, I would have tried support at the losing registrar.

This is actually Strike 2 for AlpNames for me. (I once contacted support through chat about a bulk payment question. They said to hold on. I think they came back about an hour later saying it wasn't possible, and I could cancel my order and start the transfer again (at the regular rate). Well, it was possible, and I found it within that hour that I was holding on chat. (STRIKE 1)
