As expected:
"Websites with New TLDs Buying Name+NewTLD.com
Example: Bi.tt bought Bitt.com. Seems the primary reason people buy these new TLDs is because the .coms are not available. As the site grows, it eventually acquires the name+the TLD.com."

#5 Correction: .TT is the ccTLD of Trinidad and Tobago, not a ngTLD

Would be curious if any instances actually do exist where a company started with a ngTLD and bought the com version
