Sell good names, or keep them as investments?

So here we are at the start of a year that promise to provide some major economic changes. It looks as if fiat bank deposits are going to come under attack, so is it worth selling good domain names? I guess you could sell them and buy gold, if you don't want to leave the money in the bank. How about just keeping the names, and maybe pick up a bit of income from monetising them. That way, you won't pay tax on the sale, and you keep what I believe to be an asset with the potential for a good capital gain.

It also depends on the market that the domain owner has a good knowledge about. IMO

Cause there is a "paper trail" I would double check your tax laws (or get expert advice)

Personally, my "liquid domains" (like gold) aren't so liquid, to sell them "right away", I would have to sell them at a major loss!!
That would only hsppen in a real emergency...I prefer to keep them!

Unless you really need the money, keep them until a great offer comes along.
