Are manual keywords history...or did I miss something???

Just realized today that on names I have parked at sedo the manual keyword option no longer works.

Made contact with another parking provider and was told "our upstream ad provider doesn't give an option to remove keywords anymore".

Not a happy camper here...there must be a better way?!?!?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Afaik you can still 'suggest' keywords to a parking service's main ad provider.
If the domain has relevant traffic with the keywords you suggest then, eventually, you'll see them showing up on the 2-lander page.

I don't know about SEDO but I know for a fact that at ParkingCrew, Voodoo and DomainSponsor keyword suggestions work.

I hope you don't mean forcing high CPC keywords on unrelated domains since that will only get your domain banned from google.

No...not forcing for high cpc just putting relevant phrases to the domain name when the provider's bots didn't get it right...my lander was set to one click so relevant phrases would show.

Here is PCrew screenshot from a domain with customization in case you are unfamiliar with Parking Crew's platform.

Thanks for info...most names are with vdoo and those that did not have relevant ads I pointed to sedo since the option was there for me to ignore the incorrect auto...just bummed out it looks like the manual option is gone now...it worked a few days ago. Time to sell, develop or let those names go...

Must admit I am more confused than a chameleon in a bag of multi colored candies (took out the candy brand name in case of infringement issues).

Just got started with pcrew and quite different than I am used to...not letting me do the premium ads, possibly because bank information not complete or incorrect.

I know I read it somewhere on the threads, but seems many here do not like email monetization...any thoughts?

Lots of new terms...one is 'imprint active' or 'imprint inactive' and have not figured that out yet. The only thing that comes to mind regarding imprinting is when a baby chick hatches!?!?! Does this have something to do with the zero click demons? I'm sure it will become second nature to me once I get used to their platform.

I can see where search term suggestions can be made but not where a forced search term can be added to override inaccurate ones...maybe they don't have that option.

Their console is interesting...gonna miss the pie charts at seedoo! (seriously, it is cool)

Seeing that you have plenty of questions asked, I believe it's better if you contacted them. Their support is nothing like SEDO's (in a good way) and I believe they will help answering any queries you might have.

btw. the imprint I believe is something needed only for German residents and does not apply to non-Germans. Please ask the support to be sure.

As for the forced keywords, you need to ask them for it. They don't give that option to everyone since a lot of people set irrelevant high cpc keywords and that attracts a lot of bans... something that no parking service wants.

Yes...you are right...I remember seeing that in a pull up box...thanks.

I'll contact them as you suggest...just trying to avoid being laughed at for missing the obvious! Thanks for your response.

Sedo's parking is horrendous, at least in my experiences! Clunky interface and panhandler type revenue! I know they sell a lot of domains but parking there has been futile and I also noticed the manual keyword change doesn't stay after wasting about 2 hours trying to manually change to more appropriate keywords!

after wasting about 2 hours

Me too! Spent about ten hours a few weeks ago getting them set up...worked great until the change. I didn't know things were different (an email would have been nice) so I spent time trying to 'correct' what went wrong thinking it was on my end.

From now on, its vdoo and pcrew for me (although no payout history with pcrew yet, I am hopeful)
