I came across this firm which does domain flipping without owning the names. They pitch the potential buyer for the domain names listed on Namejet even before they own the names. If the buyers agree to their terms, they buy the names and sell them. Hence, making huge profits.
Can you sell something even when you dont own it?
Is it legal?
PS- They arent official brokers for the name.

Hmmmm I interesting!
Sounds legal. But aren't namejet domains "googable" couldn't potential buyers simply Google domains being pitched to them and find the NJ auction for it. Effectively eliminating the middle man?

Either way they still have to battle it out with other bidders.

So win win to the NJ Lister. (Registrar 90% of the time and sometimes thee actual domain owner)

Care to share the Name of the firm?

Pm it to me please thanks.

i dont think it is illegal, alias domaining i say we call it. When you know a potential buyer and you know you can win the auction then why not try it. Also it is broking done the right way, so i dont think it is any harm.

P.S- i have not done it anyway
