Example.
I am selling domain name on ebay to end-user.
Payment is made via Paypal if auction is successful.
What do I have to do after?
How to correctly transfer domain to buyer?
What are exactly the right steps?

1. Unlock the domain
2. Give domain EPP (auth) code to buyer (via email or eBay message?)
3. Done?

Or I am missing something important?
Help, please!

Those are the steps to transfer. You will also have to confirm the transfer through one or two emails.

If the buyer uses the same registrar, you could simply "push" the domain to them. This is just as simple. Each registrar may do it a little differently but basically it's an internal account transfer. You'll need some information from the buyer to complete the push but it's simple.

Hello!

If the buyer wants the domain name in the same registrar, you can just push it to his account.
But, before you do that, you should make sure the Paypal funds are secure. For large amounts it's always good to use an escrow service.

Other than that, I think you got the right steps.

Best regards!

You don't give them epp code if they have an account at same registrar, you'd just unlock and send it to their user name at the registrar site. Epp code is for transfers out get paid first and send notes in messages regarding the name and you'll be doing great ;)

It all depends which registrar you use. Some are user friendly and others are a nightmare.

Most of my domains are on GoDaddy ,but in this case my domain is registered with Uniregistry.
Most likely I have to transfer it to different registrar.
Thank you!

Confirm that you have turned off privacy for the domain...

You should be fine with Uniregistry...they understand domainers(y) and will be helpful if you need them.

The problems I have run into are when the buyer doesn't understand the process and then you sometimes have to do a little hand-holding to get it to them and hope they aren't using some obscure registrar to transfer the name to.

...and hope they have a good ebay rep so there aren't any chargebacks/disputes from the buyer with Paypal.
