Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

NameSilo
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Namebio VR sale reported:

virtualrealitypc.com

155 USD 2017-01-22 GoDaddy

These long names with the full "virtual reality" just wont do as well as the shorter version or brandables with VR companies, its a pain in the @ss to type that out each time.

Hey friend @gilescoley .. Great News for you and for any other VRLL/LLVR account holder.

VRTV.com is in Auction @Flippa .. Reserve Auction. Someone placed 1st bid of $100,000 . Bidder is "NEW" but Flippa requires Account/ID verification if someone wants to place bid more than $5000. Lets hope First bid is real. @gilescoley fasten your seat-belt if VRTV.com sold for $100,000K+ . You will get good price for your name TVVR.com

Thanks. Yes I agree with you that I may got a good deal because I sold 2 VR+LL.com names for $XXXX within last 30 days plus some other VR+LL or LL+VR names sold for $XXXX range as well by other sellers.

Thanks

Thanks @TERADOMAIN ...yes I saw that, I wasn't convinced it was a legit bid, but I hope you're right and it sells for $100k+....I just hope the reserve is not too much higher than that bid?

@gilescoley I agree with you about 1st bid. Its "New" bidder. But lets think positive. He may be a deep pocket end user who knows !! Lets wait and watch.

Thanks

i think a lot people do not even bother bid on these epxired things knowing in most cases owner renews anyway.

Owners renew all of the good VR domains, and most good domains, in my experience.

Nothing more defeating than watching an auction, bidding, winning, then on the 4th day of waiting the owner renews.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think the $100k is genuine. I know the opening bid was set at $100k but a new user coming straight in at that with 2 weeks left on the auction seems fishy to me, even the biggest of companies/buyers would sit it out (at least until the final day) and snipe.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Video Review - PlayStation 4 (PS VR)

Final Score: 9/10 – Amazing

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard sets a new bar for survival horror games and stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the best games in the franchise’s long history. By uniting elements from the past, such as the slow pacing, focus on exploration, mind-bending puzzles, and desperation for survival, with the pulse-pounding first-person gameplay of the recent era of horror games, Capcom has crafted a veritable modern classic. Resident Evil 7 embraces virtual reality as a medium and proves that you don’t have to cut corners or make sacrifices to create a compelling VR experience.

Stop wasting your money on worthless hand-reg's, just buy a semi-premium name. You could buy at least 3 semi-premiums with all those money you've wasted on all the VR names you've showcased here.

True, but coulda woulda shoulda.

I've tried to get a few Semi premium names but negotiating a price for a niche that's got the potential it has is hard work. All the domains I like seem to have a price tag of high x,xxx.

I thought this was one of my better hand reg's. :D

:) I don't think it's that bad. I think any [descriptive]+VR or [noun]+vr is worth an $9-$12 dollar bet.

I've seen worse.

It's almost a couple years later since this post was originally started and VR is still growing strong, despite all the criticisms. Good luck domainers. This business will continue to grow each and every month.

well.. naysayers will be naysayers.. whoever they are.. for whichever niche.. their stuff is usually not based on facts... it's based on ego, lameness or some other psychopatic behavioural disorders.

it was never a question of if for VR.. it was just about WHEN.

2016 was year 0 for VR
we are 1% into it.

thats all anyone needs to remmeber about VR.

cheers

p.s. feel free showcase VR domains if u wanna.

Seeing sceneries while on an exercise bike or a treadmill sounds more like a gimmick that will only appeal to a select few more so than a whole new industry.

Well in that case VR is probably a gimmick destined to fail.

not to drag into old topics.. but I too commented those words in same way as you that.. if you see no potental for something like VRgym, then its identical to seeing no potential for all of VR period. the essence of all of VR wil be and is beign captured in all its little subniches or areas.. whether you are dating in vr, studying in VR, exercing in VR etc.. it's all the same essence.. the only thing that varies is the details.

cheers.
